9/11 was nothing compared to this: that's a bad analogy. It was basically a local disaster confined to a few square blocks of New York. Huge
political implications, but really nothing much physically.
Not comparable to the Haiti earthquake, not comparable to Katrina, and certainly not comparable to this. If 9/11 had happened in Minneapolis, it would
have been a four-day story.
I sure hope he doesn't try to minimize this by such a comparison.
This thing has its own unique scale on which 9/11 wouldn't even rate a footnote.
