I was surprised to find Pravda has a subscription database sold to universities...

All Pravda content back to 1912.

Comparable to the "ProQuest" subscription database of Historical newspapers(the archive of all major US newspapers).

Why some posters here discredit Pravda?

Because it borders on fringe and like UK's sensationalist "The Sun"?

Saddam would have spilled the beans at his trial if any of this was true.

If he had this info it may have saved his life.

This was one of the earliest theories presented leading up to the invasion of Iraq.

Everyone talked crap on it, and acted like if you think Aliens have anything to do with Iraq your crazy!

But yes, I think there is a high probability that the Iraq war had deep secrets we still do not even know about.

The rush into Iraq was blindingly fast and brash. Why? Oil isn't THAT important, and we know Saddam got rid of his WMD prior to the invasion.

The UFO/ET theory still sounds good, but we have little to no evidence to go on with it. So it is just Speculation and little more.

Look I have seen a flying saucer with my own eyes flying silently by, I know its real.

So what does Iraq have to do with UFOs?? A LOT.

Here is a good way to look at this. IF UFOS Exist, than it must follow, that nearly everything is directly related to "them" and "whatever they are doing here".

With something like Iraq where we have the world's superpower rushing in over "fake" reasoning all gung ho.

You have to start wondering what REALLY went on there...

If Mr. Hussein had connections with intelligent extraterrestrials,

what the hell was he doing hiding in a hole in somebody's backyard?

Why not book a ride into space or some place else when the invasion started?

In addition to there being no original source info in the 1st link, I reference the video of the “UFO’s” seen in Iraq, also noting the link to the aforementioned video in your source doc is broken.

Hi GeminiSky, I really think that you are right here, and that the reason for the war in Iraq is connected with ET matters and not because of what I always thought for the oil over there.

It is indeed very strange that there where so many museum antiquities stolen by the US and shipped oversea.

Those antiquities must have been of a very great importance to them, so it is very reasonable to assume that they were confiscated because many of those artifacts are indeed ET related.

What could be another reason for that then?

Remember when the second Gulf War satarted and the US army raided Bagdad on foot, the first thing they did was to secure the Bagdad Museum. And of course they emptied the museum and took some private stuff off with plane. I was informed by a friend who did business with Iraq before the war brokeout that, the museum held some important sumerian tablets and other stuff which shed light on the evolution and origin of human beings and so on...

Bagdad museum was the only museum in the world to hold info on most ancient history of the world...its a shame really...

Yes and most models have cellulite and spots and so do film stars etc ah the wonders of photoshop !

Saddam had white teeth in his photos so the other guy is a fake, I think more than that would have been looked at to check his identity.

As for the aliens crashing ufo's to keep the balance of power maybe they have picked up tranmissions of TORA,TORA,TORA and thought Kamikaze is the way to go

The real Sadaam died in the 90's the whole war was a farce to hang his body double..sick stuff.

I too agree that this a plausible theory. If a person believes this is extreme speculation and fabricated why even waste their time in this thread?

I posted this thread to discuss the possibility of an Iraq-ET connection of some kind.

Maybe...Maybe not, If you do not agree with this theory, you are entitled to your OPINION on the matter. But please refrain from stating your OPINIONS as if they are FACT. It only leads to confusion for other members who take a genuine interest in discussing the topic at hand.

That episode of Coast to Coast was the first I had listened to ever. Was extremely interesting the topic and still is today for me. Too bad maybe..maybe not's pretentiousness gets in the way of the discussion about the topic.

1. Get control of their oil supplies to secure a steady low oil price
   
2. Remove the unpredictable Saddam from power by force after the CIA had failed, then replace Saddam with someone that was more cooperative with the US
   
3. They had bad CIA intelligence that he had nukes and/or chemical weapons, possible purposly planted by the CIA
   
4. They thought Saddam had gotten hold of Red mercury, this would allow him to create suitcase sized nukes
   
5. George Bush Jr. wanted to complete the job his dad started in the 90's
   
6. To give a boost to the US weapon industry at first, then to give rebuilding contracts to other US companies
   
7. Saddam had found ancient alien relics from Sumeria, and would not give them to the US
