Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit said he had a one-on-one meeting with Obama, in which President Obama told him that he was still a Muslim, the son of a Muslim father, the stepson of Muslim stepfather, that his half brothers in Kenya are Muslims, and that he was sympathetic towards the Muslim agenda.

While I can't vouch for the alleged remarks by the Egyptian foreign minister, this article is very useful in documenting the numerous acts Obama has taken to empower Islam in the USA and abroad. Very scary! And THIS is what we were afraid of during his campaign - and for which we were widely castigated. Is Obam...a a Muslim Manchurian candidate? He sure seems like it. Funny how Pamela's Paypal account was suspended after she posted THIS article.

Does anyone know whether he has been asked directly what his personal beliefs are? Nothing necessarily conspiratorial — unless he really wishes to conceal his beliefs.

What is perhaps even more interesting is the reference in the OP to the President being "sympathetic to the Muslim agenda". To be fair that could be interpreted in many different ways. But I'd have thought the nation he represents would have a right to know what he means by this, not to mention a right to ask why he would speak of such matters to foreign dignitaries in private, rather than to his own people, in public.

I think the President's choice for his first media address makes it perfectly clear where his alliances lie. It's not with the American people.

His choice of religion is based on the audience he is addressing.

I'll go ahead and put this simply, for all the simple minds out there:

WHO CARES?

It is this that allows those with a nefarious agenda to masquerade as progressives, gain power and influence — and finally dismantle a society founded on justice and equality.

I aggree the need for freedom of ideas and religion, but the fact remains that Islam is the fastest growing religion in the democratic world. Ironically, Islam is the least democratic institution in the world. Perhaps democracy is overrated.

How easy it is when the American people forget that after 911 the terroists declared that they would turn the White House black?

As I have over stated in my post numerous times I am pro government and they support our backing.

There is only one reason I would not lend my support and that is if the Leader of the US or UK was a Muslim. I will not say anything harsh about them but I can not stand their religion or any religion. Why can't a person be just a person. Are people not useful or credible without a religious background or agenda?

I hope this is wrong about Obama. I can not see the US government or the so called elites backing a Muslim anyhow. Can someone explain how that would work?

That little freudian slip of his seems quite telling,i.e. "my muslim faith".
In a personal sense it doesn;t matter to me what religion he, or anyone else is BUT, you don't lie about it to get elected.
Considering his position it DOES matter greatly what faith he is.

I also think the religious affiliation of ANY president is his or her own. Just as is their sexual orientation.

We would be better off if the President could just state 'I have no religious preference' and was able to worship in ANY religious house.

It's funny to me...

A muslim has put himself under arrest and has pledged an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America.

Last I checked, Sharia isn't our law...So it doesn't really matter what other laws Obama is sympathetic to. If he ever feels that he should betray the laws of this land on behalf of the laws of some book with its origin in other lands that have no meaning here, then I am certain the the military and police that surround him will have no problem escorting him to his new facilities.

As soon as he took the oath...Islam ceased to have any meaning ... it is irrelevant.
