(I'm on a horror flick kick at the moment, so sue me!)

* The Exorcist 2: wrong on so many levels, scary on none of them

* Pet Semetary 2: featuring the dumbest characters ever to appear in a horror film. Your step-dad is a 7-foot-tall abusive psycho with a shotgun? Bring him back from the dead as a mad zombie with unlimited strength!

* Amityville Horror: So you've just discovered that the gate to Hell is in your basement--what do you do? Keep living there, of course!

* Robo Vampire: the dumbest film ever made, period. Literally cobbled together from a Chinese hopping vampire film, A Fillipino action-adventure flick in the jungle, and an American bit about a guy in a really really bad Robocop outfit (with a chestplate that might actually be a garbage can lid)

I'd have to say The Toxic Avenger, funny but dumb.

And Bats, what a stupid movie.

Dumbest as in bad? I have seen more than I could possibly list.

Attack of the Killer Tomatos is usually considered the worst, but I've seen films that even I could not sit through and I am a film (horror/scifi) fanatic.

There are far too many 'I's in this post.

Anyone remember that dumb horror/comedy flick, with a giant carnivor plant in some shop? The guy was keeping it and feeding her with dead body parts. I think it was even one of those dumb musical comedy where they always start singing and dancing for no apparent reasons.

That was pretty dumb. Agree, the toxic avanger was hilarious !

I haven't seen it yet, but I've heard Van Helsing is so not horrifying it's actually funny.

NO! THE MEMORIES BURN!

Hahahaha! It was pretty funny when Steve Martin started singing about kicking puppies though.

Now I have never seen this one, but just read the review.

Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter
Remember all of those What Would Jesus Do (WWJD) bracelets and necklaces? Well, according to Lee Gordon Demarbe Jesus would kick the # out of a bunch of lesbian vampires and I gotta say, I think that rules!

In Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter, Jesus is called upon to vanquish an army of lesbian vampires, who take the skin from other lesbians and graft it over theirs so that theyre able to run about in daylight, raising hell. Aiding Jesus in his battles with the undead are femme fatale Mary Magnum and legendary Mexican wrestling star (and crimefighter) El Santo. The basic premise alone is worth the price of admission for this one. Seeing Santos kicking ass again may just bring tears to your eyesthat is if youre my type of person.

Did I mention that it is also a musical?

I think so too! LOL... That looked like one #ed up movie, it's incredible the senarios some people can come up with. Strangely, Mary Magnum reminded me of Banshee ! lol... After all, she's kinda like the Femme Fatale of ATS hehehehe...

Oh no... I just can't stand musical comedy. If I'd ever be in a play, and everybody would start singing and dancing, I think I'd make a real carnage and kill everyone. Musical comedies makes m0rbid go berserk...

Scream 3- Just plain stupid, not scary and the ending sucked.

Children of the Living Dead- Not worth writing about based on such a cliche that it can not possibly be good.

from the back cover
The plague continuesWhen Matthew Michaels arrives in a rural town in Pennsylvania to fulfill his father's wishes of developing a small, seemingly innocent piece of land, it marks the beginning of a horrifying phenomenon. The land is an old cemetery and those buried there are awakened and begin to walk the earth once again. Now, the hunt is on, as the living dead stalk their prey, arising from the shadows and terrorizing and killing the townspeople. And with the taste of human flesh in their mouths, the hunger of the deadly zombies intensifies. Your worst fears have just become a reality. Pray for a quick death.

I forgot about Scream 3 -- yeah, I was really looking forward to seeing that one but it was a real let-down.

Scary Movie 2 was also really bad, considering how much I like the first movie.

The hubby knows I love cheesy horror flicks, and brought home a discount DVD called "Scarecrow". Though it had pretensions of cheesiness, ultimately it was just plain BAD. He also subjected me to a movie called "Squirm" last week. It was about these flesh-eating worms (countless shots of a mass of earthworms), and it almost made "Scarecrow" look good. Almost, but not quite. :shk:
