You're spot on.

Pope JP1, was about to spill the Vatican's collective guts to the world, about the institutionalized rape and sexual abuses that went on and were hushed up as a matter of routine within the Vatican and RC church as a whole.

Of course, in the RC church's view, he *couldn't* be allowed to reveal what he was about to, even if it was for the greater good.

The current pope, the dark side's emperor himself, was coincidentally the investigator in charge of 'handling' pope JP1's suspicious and sudden death.

The emperor can apologize and beg as much as he wants to, but to protect those that rape and torture children, makes him as bad as they are, and no amount of begging will absolve him of that stain. Personally, i feel he has a LOT more to be guilty for than the sex abuse scandal and lying to cover a popes murder because of it.

I believe the corruption and evil that goes on in the RC church (and most religious orgs) is way deeper than what most decent people would care to imagine.

That's at least the second time i've seen a misquote on this issue..

He *did not* say .."doomed as a society", he *said* .."doomed as a species".

Species is MUCH bigger than society. It literally means the WHOLE world being doomed, not just the American way of life, or present societal order.

So, you could be right, it may have something to do with ET's, or it could also be a natural catastrophe that is waiting to happen, or even the loony Israelis about to launch their 200+ megaton nukes at all of the major cities around the world (as they have said, they routinely target ALL of their allies *and* their enemies with nukes).

But a species being doomed means the human race...not the US culture.

He could have been refering to American Imperialism as a "species" IMO.
He may not have meant the entire human race,just the US Gov(and their allies) way of doing things...A kind of metaphor-That those who get their own way behind the spotlight of the controlled media could be seeing an end to their ability to behave in such a manner.
Say the cables contain damning evidence of blackmail,support for evil regimes,the installing and proping up of dictators worldwide,massive drug and people trafficking etc...With all this knowledge out in the public domain-It would put the USAand allies under a great deal of scrutiny by the likes of the UN etc,and they would pretty much have to change their behaviour on the global stage.

Thats my take on the "doomed as a species" phrase.

Although wouldn't it be great if their were some aliens pulling all the strings,and the cables will reveal them to us...Can't see it though.

This all sounds very interesing, but im betting nothing will come out of this, and wikileaks will release nothing I could be wrong though. We will see.

Somehow they never elaborate on said doom just that its global and everyone is going to die. Do a search just on this site and you'll discover hundreds of these guys. The only one I fell for was the guy who called in on coast to coast all freaked out. He should win an academy award for that preformance.

So when and where should I look for my demise? Maybe I'll just start popping tops till the bombs, aliens, astroids or the PTB send in the troops and round us up to the camps.

Thanks for clearing that up spikey. It will be very interesting if anything comes out regarding the Vatican along with any involvement they may have regarding foreign policy and internal policy. I would like to state, that all the governments going away would be bad. What we need is government reform worldwide.

Around 1940 American Republican politicians didn't want to enter WW2 because they thought if they did, there would be so much destruction that we would never be able to have the same type of government as they had prior to entering. The question I have is this. If there are 260k cables and they are released, will we be able to actually talk about the matters and end any injustice or corruption? The people may want to discuss it, but will our leaders? I seriously doubt it, at least with their countrymen and women. Also the form of government they were fearing would end, eventually did. Internally IMO. The external view stayed the same and if anyone noticed something different they were labeled communist, socialist or unpatriotic.

My point is that Asange was saying that he had some info being released that was world changing or something to that effect. Whether it is 260k cables or not doesn't matter. The only thing that does is that the info is released in way to reveal as much as possible without creating a WW3 scenario and that might just be the reason they are taking their time. After all, what would be the point in releasing info for discussion, if all you do is cause countries to enter war over delicate issue's? I think and hope info will be released, fast enough to cause change but carefully enough so that world war doesn't happen again. If it is rushed, the time it would take to put this and other countries straight wouldn't be able to happen. Just my opinion.

The information is not about aliens, the NWO, 2012 etc it is about the OIL see THREAD. When the sea floor collapses the result could be dead seas to the USA splitting in two from the explosive effect of putting freezing water into a 400 degree fault line. The world is about to become a very competitive place as clean water becomes the most valuable commodity on the planet.

If you want a sound investment don't bother with gold or silver buy stock in water purification companies specialising in oil and chemical purification.

If the world changing event comes in the form of 260 000 cables,I honestly doubt the USA has much to worry about.
If the info was contained in say,3 or 4 cables,maybe the general public could digest that amount of info,and say"hey thats really bad"or whatever,but if said info is spread over quarter of a million documents,I doubt many will take the time to research the info.The MSM certainly won't bother,and will continue to obsess over the latest hat worn by lady gaga or other crap.

Obsfucation by excess documentation is the name of the game.

It nothing to do with the oil spill as bad as that is. Its much to recent.

What has to be taken into consideration is the guys age. At 22 the whole deluge of info he glimpsed was probably too much to take in.

The shock of how the world is really run may have just been too depressing for him to take.

If this had anything today with aliens or some impending doom I think the info would have hit immediately and could not be contained.

I can't help feeling though that TPTB could be behind all of this. If they really wanted to stop wikileaks I am sure it could happen in an instant and also be totally discredited. I wouldn't be surprised if it is just a new tool for TPTB. Undecided on this still.

Buying stock in anything isn't very smart because when the ecomony collapses you're screwed. The Stock market is one big rip off.

People don't buy gold bullion to make money, they buy it because when paper money is worthless you'll have something to buy stuff with.

Im talking about having gold and silver on hand, not that crap where you "invest" in it and never physically see it. That's one of the biggest scams on the planet.
