I guess all those pro-israel people who show up to pro-Palestine rallies who shout things like "we know who you are" "all of you are being documented" "we will ruin your work and social lives" were actually finding out who these people were and ratting on them to the FBI saying they were terrorists!

I have a large online collection of combat footage and I was visited by the FBI also. I just let them in and answered all their questions. I've never heard from them since.

EDIT: The guys who came to my house were in a suit and tie though. Not dressed casually like the guy in this video. They also insisted in coming inside to talk.

geez, the agents are trying to gather information about any acts of violence this lady might know of, i don't think this is a violation of any rights. there are bad people out there that want to hurt us, and i don't think this an example of big brother, but simply the FBI trying to do their job.
often, people do not want to come forward, with some crucial information, that might lead to eventually saving someones life. so agents come out to homes to help either quell rumors, or investigate them further.
the woman was a bit too dramatic, and her particular importance was overblown in her own mind.
i'm sure the agents were thinking " lady, we could care less about you, we are just trying to find out if you heard or know something that might be important"

I'm not convinced that those were FBI agents.. something seems off.

Even if they were - I don't see a problem with what they did. Seems reasonable to me that they would contact protest organisers/participators in order to get some info....

Assuming that they didn't go to visit her because of a tip they got doesn't necessarily mean they were trying to silence or harrass her. These kind of visits are 101 de-escalation tactics, something that surely isn't out of place when it comes to anti-isreal protests or the like where there is always the possibility that people seeking violence and mayhem try to piggyback on legitimate protesters.

We should be careful about just taking her stance for granted. Seems to me she's convinced that the FBI works for Israel and that she therefore is an "enemy of the state" being harassed by agents. Actually that is not what I saw in the video; that's simply her take on things. This reminds me of people chasing off census workers from their property with threats of violence...

They get creepier and creepier. The women in the video did good by not being intimidated, as that's what the video was about...

There's two trains of thought. One to talk as this woman did to educate them and one to say nothing. The "Feds" have no business on her property at all without a warrant. Under the don't talk scenario she should have simply let them know they have no business even talking to her and she reserves her right to remain silent, end of story. On the talk to approach she ok because of the knowledge she has and the cause she's behind.

She could have gone about this interview better than she did.

Sometimes, it's better to be honest and speak your mind politically (the reason why you're protesting in the first place) than to "stand-off" and exercise your right.

In these FBI agent's eyes, this person (and group by affiliation) now look more extreme and threatening to the agents and the bureau. If she would have actually talked to them, she may have possibly given them information (such as the U.S. spend $7 million/day on Israel) they didn't previously know. MOST Americans (FBI Agents or not) are against spending their tax dollars on "Nation Building". I'm sure the FBI agents would carry out their investigation regardless of how they felt about the situation, but now their focus is on why she (or her group) is hiding information, rather than why they oppose the fight against Palestinians.

She could have turned an ally. But, instead she only tightened the microscope under which she and her affiliation will be examined in the future.

because HER government (i.e. the U.S. government) basically IS Israel. It's controlled by Israel. So for her to protest against Israel is identical to protest against the U.S. government they are basically one and the same 2 headed dragon.

Reason I state this is from 30 years of crossing borders. She did very well on most of it but the question about whether she knew of any possible "Situations" I would have adamantly expressed NO!

This could have been easily done and chances are she would'nt be bothered any further. I think she has left herself, 5 kids, family, friends ect... in a situation that they may pay for the rest of their lives.

I dont see a problem with it.If the FBI turn up and ask you questions about a protest you were in,simply asking you since you were there did you hear or see anything that might lead too a attack against the country you live it.

Surely if it was a peaceful protest she was at then its peace she wants and would only be too happy too help the FBI with their enquires.

So what happens f you do go to a protest and hear someone talking about what they going to attack or deface in some way,what because you dislike the government that much you not willing too tell them what was said,you think by not telling you making yourself some kind of hero a martyr.

If she don't want to talk too them then take her silence plea and shut the door simple as that and don't be an annoying immature child.I bet she feel so good about her behaviour and feels great telling/showing her friends.

As much as I would like to agree with you, the truth is, they wouldn't do it if it didn't work.

All to often the people of the world are more than willing to turn their back on their fellows and stick it to them either for some "get back" or the perception of excitement.

When I was younger, it was similar with the pro pot rallies. The cops would document everyone, and everything. Now true pot is against the law, but the legality is really up for grabs, point is any outside venture can result in your being documented for further followup.

Sad sad world we live in.
