Thank goodness I'm not the only one. I was really trying to think just what is MMS...and why did the OP repeat it about 4 times?

The MMS that the OP is referring to is the Mineral Management Services. I believe they handle the government oversight for off-shore drilling among other things. If I'm not mistaken some reports came out that they seemed to be quite "in bed" with the companies they were supposed to be regulating....I even heard mention of MMS people sleeping with people from the company she/he was supposed to be supervising.

Aw come on. Really? The entire economy is upended while the agency supposedly watching it is watching porn all day. No one even got fired there. We're continually getting hosed by the government not doing its job. No one is ever held accountable. Why should this be any different?
