I don't think this was the event the Myan Indians had in mind.
This was a Brittish accident/ crisus. I think we get a really good look at the human conscious level of morality. Liars, shirking responsibility, not informing the public, not addressing the issue, and task at hand effectively utilizing team work. We all knew what the worst case senario would be from the first week. Why these people in Washington didn't react swifter is beyond me. We pay out vast amounts in taxes and frankly we feel ripped off.
I remember going to the Gulf of Mexico seven years ago, the Destin Beach was simply gorgeous. Clear blue waters and pure white sand, we took a fishimng trip three miles out into the ocean it was simply pristinely beautiful. They should have extremely tough sanctions of safety for these oil rigs, they should have to pass bi-weekly inspections. I really think free energy solutions should be released immediately and we need to work as one group taking care of the planet. Time for the truth to surface.....

RizeorDie, a bit hateful aren't we? Seems to me, I would rather be just another dead US citizen, rather than be stuck here with you.

Frugal, in comment above puts this in much more perspective:

" I think we get a really good look at the human conscious level of morality."

It's unbelievable how divided humanity really is. We can't even agree on what a "disaster" is!
Will there ever be anything we will all agree on?

If our president lies to us we still won't unite as a country.
If the NWO takes place, we still won't unite as a global-nation.
If we see a meteor heading our way we still won't unite as a planet.
If off-planet visitors show themselves we still won't unite as Humans.

I tell ya, the PTB have done a fabulous job at dividing up the minions!
First with their religions, institutions (schools) and finally their governments.
Now? Well now...it's just encoded in our genes!

Seriously, you are embarrassing yourself. So, do yourself a favor and stop while your ahead.

To compare the 1991 spill in the Persian Sea to the Gulf of Mexico is representative of a new kind of Ignorance!

I'll give you a hint genius, compare the currents of the Gulf of Mexico to Persian Sea. Once you do this, it will not be beyond the possibility that you will slap yourself in the head.

Best reply iv heard yet

OT I think were making out like the earth is super fragile and every hole we dig is causing major damage. If that was the case the earth wouldent have survived 4.54 billion years. Also im sure that from when the first creature on earth were created up until now the sea floor would have ruptured at one point releasing oil or even something else and well life is still here.

Oh naaaaa no offence taken i just think that naturally is ok to people because there is no one to blame. Say if the tectonic plates could talk dunno witchcraft or something you would then blame them. BP yeah super screwups but who would have thought this would happen. its basicaly a freek occurance but people are blaming BP because they what? should have been prepared. If for some reason this is an inside job then yeah light your torches and revolt. Pointing your fingers aint going to bring the animals back, going out of your way to do something atleast then you are say avenging them. You can interwine any conspiracy theory into the mixing pot like population reduction, inside job but the fact of the matter is the floor is still leaking. People are getting ill from going near the oil so more tactical methods have to be introduced. look at chernobyl they didnt know what they was up against and well most of them died brave men at that. collateral is the biggest loss and well were not all heros are we. Who here would give there all to deal with this desaster say a hand full.

When it comes down to sacrificing yourself for another every one says it wasent me i didnt do it. Yet you think a few 100 people can stop this. we need to rationalize our thinking and figure out the best method to tackle this problem with miner casualties.

Soz for babbling on prob went off topic dunno but safe

All you people so hopeful for 2012 to come around... let's see how excited you are when your life or someone you knows life is about to end.

Something tells me you'll wish you had more time.

If your life is so pathetic that you need to look forward to the world ending, well, ya might wanna take a look at what real death and destruction looks like and see if you're still in such a hurry to get there.

Morons.

The oil spill is the ruling elite's attempt to convince you that 2012 is going to be the "end of the world".

The more they try to destroy the planet the more I am convinced that something very awesome is going to happen in 2012.

I'm talking of course about becoming part of the galactic civilization and freeing ourselves from our self-imposed prison society.

how about 250,000,000 gallons which is the rough ammount of what's deep beneath the earth under the deepwater horizon, and there's an event horizon for this, once it goes past a certain point and it wear's away the side, it will be unstoppable. And it might be leaking 4.2 million gallons a day maximum and 2.4 or 2.5 million minimum. Oil kills animals, they cant swim in it.

And he isnt saying oil isnt bad. He's saying its happened before, on a larger scale, and you and i and little fishies and dolphins are still here.

Just because someone points out these facts doesnt mean they are saying you can drink a big glass o crude!

Perhaps if Americans werent so self-centered, they wouldnt think a big spill was THE WORST EVER ZOMG!! just because it happened within their media's view.

Yes, this is big. But go research the size of other spills of this nature. It puts some things into perspective. The Ixtoc 'spill' is actually quite comparable. And yet 95% of you have never heard of it before a month or so ago!!

but I am very unhappy that the animals and plants have to suffer because of mankind.

it would be no surprise me if them at the top are destroying the world to kill us all off. so they can live in a deep bunker. until its safe again. then they start a new perfect world. with then as gods and machines to do all the work. from what I see of history. it looks like mankind grow big then die off? in 2500 years will they tell a tail like Noah's Ark!...

i wonder what earth would be like today if mankind ceased to ever exist how beautiful it would be i bet, not to say it isnt great today but we indeed left our marks in and on it

That is one of the most ignorant things i have read here. And i have read many many ignorant remarks. Isn't BP British Petroleum? Would it be logical for me to want the entire population of the UK to die due to the lack of actions taken by a few greedy corporate pigs? This is not an American thing, nor a British thing this is a issue of greed. Something that is in any country or Corporation. You may find your lack of compassion to have more in common with the people responsible for this mess!

shame on you!

tl;dr

I think this is part of chain of events leading up to 2012. I think 2012 if nothing happens we will HAVE TO resort to change. We will have our back against the wall... we all ready do. We will have to sacrifice until we have had enough and phase out using oil and the combustible engine among other things destroying our planet and us as a species and grow up. I see the Sun storms being the most likely scenario and that will play a part as well if it knocks out our power grid and have an energy crisis. I think energy crisis will be the WW3 because wars are always fought over resources in this age. Just like when we embargoed japans oil in WW2 and they attacked.

Just wait for it and i hope the raise of consciousnesses is true if David Wilcock is right but i would not hold my breath either
