Share Comments 2,049 CNN obtained video Thursday that shows the build-up to the shooting of a 15-year-old Mexican boy, Sergio Adrian Hernandez Guereca, by a US border agent along the Mexico-US border between El Paso and Ciuded Juarez that has caused tensions to flare between the two countries. The video, which originally aired on Univision, was taken by a bystander with a cell phone on the Mexican side of the border.

The U.S. has insisted the border patrol agent was defending himself after being pelted with big stones while trying to detain illegal immigrants on the U.S. side of the Rio Grande. Both governments have hinted at misconduct by the other country's law enforcement.

The video shows 4 people running from the U.S. side underneath a railroad bridge linking the two nations. A U.S. border agent then emerges on his bicycle and manages to detain one of the individuals, who he then drags along the concrete. The agent then lifts his arm, holding what appears to be a firearm, and points it toward the Mexico side in the direction of one of the other suspects. A few moments later, 2 shots are heard being fired toward the Mexican side. A third shot is heard later in the video.

According to CNN, witnesses can he heard on the video, in Spanish, saying "they're throwing rocks" as well as "they hit him... they hit him."

It would be a lot easier to take you seriously if you wrote like a normal human being. If you want to write poems, be poetic.

Please specify exactly which one of those crimes is punishable by death.
Specify which gives authority to murder a man in another nation while in uniform of this one?
Specify which gives them the authority to illegally cross the border in an attempt to recover evidence of murder.

See if you can do it in normal sentences that are pleasing to read or at least be poetic.

I heard a border patrol agent explaining what may have happened yesterday on the radio. Apparently, the illegals throw rocks trying to knock the officers unconscious or seriously injure them enough to be able to overwhelm the officer (according to this bpa, there is typically 10 illegal border crossers to every 1 border patrol agent). Once the agent is down, the illegals have in the past then murdered the agent. Apparently, it has happened dozens of times in the past few years. In that case, I think that the agent has a duty to protect himself in whatever way he deems necessary.

What I hate about ATS is that too many people are armchair quarterbacks, with plenty of time to think about what they'd do and zero threat to their life while doing it.

what's up with all these new members who are too lazy to actually post their own thoughts?
