One Town decides to Protects Itself From Oil Spill on its OWN

Magnolia Springs vows to do whatever possible to protect their bay from oil.

I thought this was quite an interesting and awesome little vid I found on yahoo. This small town decided they had enough with the worrying and waiting to see what was going to happen with this oil spill. So they decided to take matters into there own hands, NOT seek the approval of the state/country and went forward with protecting their harbor from the oil.
Like the mayor said "we are going to do what WE need to do, and we'll apologize later when it comes do it"

Good for them! Bobby Jindal in La. did about the same thing...just not soon enough I guess.

EXACTLY!!! i was thinking the SAAME THING...granted people dont have enough money to do what the goverment can do...but non the less all these towns complaining for help...when there just sitting around not doing anything for themselves. Too many people nowadays want help without working for it as well
