I was watching someone's videos on youtube. I wanted to post to tell him to come to this site and look around. Well my comment had abovetopsecret.com in it, I hit post. I get an error telling me to try again. Ok, so I try again. Nothing, same thing.

So then I try it on one of my own videos without the abovetopsecret.com(so no one thinks I'm a loon
) and the comment posts no problem. Ok then I put in abovetopsecret.com into the comment again on my video and I get an error. Ok, so I try something else. I try another site, like cheapassgamer.com in the comment. It posts fine.

Am I the first person to notice this? Surely I can't be, it seems like youtube is blocking abovetopsecret.com from being posted

Can someone else try it also? This is also my first thread, I assume this is the right place for it?

UMMM...

Try to put any .com in there.

They don't allow any URLs in comments, and haven't for years.

Otherwise every other comment on youtube would be a link to a free $1000 Walmart card, Free Trial of Acacia berry supplements, Buy Viagra Online, or Hot Girls in YOUR City Want to Bone YOU!

I know it's hard not to think the world is out to get you, but...

That's the truth.

I was able to put .com with a different website.

You'd know that if you read my post.

I'm not worried about people out to get me, I just thought it was odd.

I know they don't allow full URLs, that's how it is for most sites like that.

But like I said, a normal site with .com at the end was allowed through, yet this site isn't.

Anyway, sorry I imposed and offended you. Like I said though, if you have a video to test this on. Use a site you visit, without the www. and just the site+ .com and then ATS.

I'm a relatively new member on this site, I have nothing to worry about people getting me. But it seems like censorship. I'm sure you don't care, but even abovetopsecret without any hint of a url keeps the post from posting.

Are there any phrases or words(besides obvious expletives) that Youtube blocks?
