ok ok bad joke.

As for me the way i came along ATS was a fishing buddy was talking about a under ground alien base stuff i think it was dulce ect, so i looked into it my self, found a site by linda howe? i think that was it,searched some of her claims and i came smack into ATS.

It has been all uphill/downhill (depends how ya look at it uphill for me)from there.

the way i found BTS was i spotted the link up top i know its crazy but thats really how i found BTS no i dont have any pics, call me a liar but its true i saw it with me own eyes lol

I was researching Robert Lazar's claims, when I landed here...(for those who don't know, he claims to have been recruited to reverse engineer saucer technology)... I'm still on the fence with this guy, as there's points in his favor, and points against...

My gut just tells me he's telling the truth as he knows it...but that maybe he wasn't given all the facts... It's just odd to me that he could describe some of the details of the base only known to those who've been inside, knew when the tests occurred, etc. But, then there's the conflict of his education, the brothel, and all kinds of other stuff that really takes away from his credibility.

Anyhoo...yep, that's what brought me here. The ensuing conversations...well that's why I stayed...

I came here researching vampires.. I have been here on and of over the past years. Have lost an account when divorcing and leaving the computer with my ex, and have been offline for a while. But when I got a pc again I had to return to this website again... it keeps being an attractive place to get tons of info from.

I was looking into information available about the Swine Flu vaccine... and stumbled onto ATS. Lurked for a time, got engrossed in an awesome thread about a fight with an Alien and eventually logged on. Lol.

I always read ATS I just never joined until last year. Every search I did on Ancient Egypt topics, aliens, ufos or Mars all brought me to ATS, then one day last year I decided to join. I never even look at the site much before that. I would only read the sites I happened upon in a search through google. The first night I joined I was up til 5am reading various threads lol I read a lot of the Stargates are Real thread that night.

I found this site a couple years ago while I was researching Ancient advanced civilizations.

I lurked for a while, then made an account, but I didn't post for the longest time due to shyness.

I knew about Above Top Secret before, but never really looked into it.

The reason I'm here now is because I went to Youtube searching for something - I don't remember what - and I saw on the front page a video posted by a guy whose channel had been banned (he was using a backup channel to post said video). Curiosity got the best of me, so I clicked to find out why he had been banned. Turns out he posts a lot of videos about our corrupt government, ufo coverups, conspiracy theories and a bunch of other stuff.

And all of that made me think of this place. I am a skeptic, but I definitely do not trust our government and I have always felt that there is more to most things than what we know or what we are being told.

Now I'm ready to strap on my tinfoil hat and dive into this stuff a little deeper.

I came across a top ten list of conspiracy sites and ATS was on there. After looking at a few of them ATS seemed to be the most comprehensive.

I heard of a forum full of wannabe professional writers desperately trying to prove their skills to the public. The thing is that they aren't very good at it, so when someone that has real skills in writing come along these wannabe writers don't let this person participate. They antagonize these skilled writers to getting into arguments so they look bad and get banned.

For this I participate very slowly and don't engage in any in depth conversations.

I Googled ''conspiracy websites'' and one of the websites was ATS. That was in march 2005. I only recently became a member. But ive enjoyed every second on ATS its truly liberating to be around like minded people who share similar intrests.

I used to post on a skeptics forum (won't mention the name) that would often discuss things that had been posted here and mention this forum in a derisive way, so I started visiting to see what the fuss was about, after a while I found this site much more interesting then the original and so stopped posting there and came over here.

I've been trying to remember how I got here for years. If someone can tell me how I got here I'll transfer you some points.
It was sometime in the early/mid part of the decade I presume. It may have been due to 9/11 but that's pure speculation. I literally lurked here for a few years, signed up and then lurked some more until I finally began posting. No great story on my part.

I'm with Three Moons on this one. I've been a professional lurker here for so long I can't even recall how I ended up here all those ages ago
.

It was likely researching this or that and came across a link to some sort of discussion here and with the way I am, looking over and seeing a current top thread that peaked my curiosity and switched over to read it, rinse repeat. It was obviously all down hill from there on out!

That was a long time ago and my memory aint what it used to be.

But I seem to remember a lady MOD in a sleezy bar in Juarez talking about crackers and cough medicine. Whatever that means.
