Would you choose to fight for Israel or Arabs? I usually don't care about this issue, but I was thinking about this today as I told someone if I had to choose sides I would choose Israel. Not because I agree with the government or what not, but just because I am gay for one. And let's face it, they imprison and kill you if you are gay in Islamic countries while some of the biggest gay pride festivals are in Tel Aviv. It is democratic and there is freedom of religion sanctioned by the government. So my beliefs are more aligned with Israel than Palestine/Arabs/Islamic countries.

So if you HAD to choose sides, which would you choose? Would you rather live in Israel or an Islamic country? I am not asking for a debate if what the Israeli government does is right or wrong against the Palestinians, I am just asking a hypothetical question.

Arabs.

They didn't kick Jews out of their homes because Germans killed them.

But the Jews kicked out Arabs because Germans killed them, then continued to oppress the Arabs and have become modern day Nazi's.

I say they deserve everything they get, just like the Nazi's did. In 30 years we're going to be tracking down 80 year old IDF Rabbis and Generals who fled and hanging them like we do the Nazi's today!

EDIT TO ADD: Also, the "Muslim Extremists" on the flotilla disarmed IDF soldiers, after watching their brothers get killed, and got rid of the bullets, hid the handguns and threw an assault rifle overboard.

This shows they might not have been peaceful, but they were NOT murderers, I'll side with them.

Also makes you wonder how many "Radical Islamists" are paid lackeys from Saudi Arabia and how many "Muslim Terrorist" bombings were done by the Mossad.

Well, since the Arabs keep attacking us (do I really have to site the various times?) and Israel participated in one false flag event against the U.S. (under protest of the Israeli pilots), I'll go with Israel.

If compelled to choose a side and presented with a weapon, I'd either dump the weapon and run screaming into the sea -- or I'd shoot myself in the head

Then I'd get a grip and fight against israel, simply because I believe justice must be seen to be done, whether or not you feel much affinity with the victim

Sure, generally speaking, I have more in common with israelis. And it's true that I desplore the misogyny inherent in islam

However, regardless of my personal likes and dislikes, israel is the bad guy here. It began its reign of terror even before 1948. And after 1948, it was open slather against the Palestinians

Israelis (european jews for the most part) murdered and stole their way through the newly created 'nation' they'd been gifted

Israelis/zionists don't even bother making any bones about it: they boast about how they pretended to want peace at the very same time they were constantly instigating trouble

Israelis have stolen Palestinian homes, property, businesses, factories, groves and of course ... bank accounts

The newly-named 'israelis' behaved SO disgustingly that early Israeli heirarchy openly expressed their disgust and shame. It's all on record, so no point in denying it, or I'll be forced to post the facts, chapter and verse

Israelis (for the most part, european jews) began their reign of terror and bullying, murder and theft from the moment they leapt from the boats. They murdered or drove out legitimate owners of properties, before stealing everything they could lay hands on --- including their victims' mattresses (there are photos of this online), kitchen pots and pans, cutlery, crockery. THAT is how israel was born --- out of the wholesale sacking and raping of an existing population. Israel began as a thug --- has continued its thuggery --- and will die as a thug

The tiny 'state of israel' showed a profit year one --- from the theft of existing business and export items, right down to the recorded, documented theft of the bank accounts of the Palestinians they'd killed, raped, robbed, threatened, shot, lied-to and driven out. Ben Gurion notes the huge amount of money stolen direct from the bank accounts of living and dead Palestinians. Wolfish grins and self-congratulations applauded the theft. The ONLY concern amongst those early 'israelis' (actually, mostly european jews) was greed, envy and in-fighting between themselves over that stolen money, those stolen properties and businesses, orchards, storehouses, etc. Those early 'israelis' whined to their higher-ups over what they considered to be the uneven division of the spoils ---- all this before their victims' bodies were still fresh in the desert, in gullies, down wells

It's continued this way, all through the disgrace which has marked 'israell' through its 60-odd years

Today, 'israel' blackmails the Western world on hourly basis, using the holycost as justification. So we see Germany, down on its luck and with failing hospitals and infrastructure, compelled to provide luxury trains and railway lines to service 2000 Russian 'Settlers' who strongarmed their way into what is left of Palestinian lands --- smashing their way through Palestinian houses, village, olive groves, using 'donated' bulldozers and fire-arms -- in order to expand 'israel's' illegal land-grabs

So, whilst I do not hold with the forced marriages, the child-brides, the polygamy etc. within Islam, I must, as a matter of conscience, lend my support to Palestine --- just as conscience demands I condemn 'israel' and wish it a quick demise and exit from the mid-east, by force, if that's what it takes --- force equivalent to that exerted by israel upon the Palestinian people

Thank you for further proving my point by replying with the typical defending the indefensible response of selectively editing out only my opinion from the post and ignoring the facts that you cannot dispute or defend and know yourself in your heart to be true.

Was it not 6 million Jews that died at German hands that allowed Jews to claim israel?

Here is a question, do you think they'd give israel back to have their 6 million people back?

Would they take the 6 million and live among the world's nations like God told them to? Or with their new numbers would they again break God's wishes and return to their homeland before he allowed them back in, as he did kick them out and said not to return until he says so... Has God spoken? I didn't hear it, did he send a letter?

I have family that lives in Israel, and they are Arabs.
Please provide clarification here.

So if you HAD to choose sides, which would you choose? Would you rather live in Israel or an Islamic country?

Please provide more specifics as Israel is *one country* and there are dozens of Islamic countries?

Thanks in advance Mr. DF

People who sympathize with israel see it as us vs. them.

They don't realize that there are many Arab countries, they have been brainwashed into thinking every single Arab is out to get them.

They are horrified and know the world is waking up, and realizing God's people DO NOT act like they do. And I feel sorry for them.

I wish that the whole Middle East shapes up or disappears (except for the oil of course).

That includes Israel. However, since I don't have a strong opinion on either side, I must look at it from certain point of views. And I guess those are do I want to help countries that espouse pedophilia and murdering gay people or help a country that is pretty much like the one I live in now?

Yeah Israel does some crazy stuff, but so does China, the U.S., Russia...every country really. I hope you feel equally strongly about the demise of China due to Tibet and Uighur Muslims or the demise of the U.S. over Afghanistan and Iraq? Or is it just Israel?

This is a question that can not morally be answered. Either way innocent will die. Blood will be on your hands. If you were forced to fight then fight both sides.

The problem is that when we do nothing and we will end up in the middle in between two parties and one of them will push a button.

I say just to be save we should create a new lake. Lake Israel. get it all over with.

just kidding huh...

Please don't be so reasonable or logical.

There are also thousands of Jews who have always lived in Israel since the time of Jesus.

They never left.

Even when the Catholics went on their crusades to take back the "holy lands" and killed as many Jews as they did Muslims in the name of the pope.

Of course there are Arabs with Israeli citizenship.

They serve in the military and hold government positions.

The "Palestinians" are mostly from what is now Jordan or Syria and were run out of those countries by the governments there.

Still to this day, the 2nd largest Jewish Community in the middle east, 2nd to israel, is in... IRAN! And they are allowed to do their worship, everyone knows they are there, and they don't fight with their Muslim neighbors.

And the Jews who actually did live in Jerusalem, were begging the Zionist Rabbis not to claim it as their own, as they had been living in peace for hundreds of years and knew this would be the end of it.

They were right.

Their whole if we put our weapons down we are dead, where if the Arabs put theirs down there would be peace, works about as well as the Nazi's saying that after 50 years of killing Jews and rounding them up in ghettos, like Gaza.

It's hard to get the people you've been poking in the eye for 50+ years to forgive you, as they use to be your friends!

I would blow them both to hell or a more simple solution . Let them kill each other. Normally i dont like war. But instead of dragging and creating problem for earth for centuries, lets have WW3. Its better if its over once and for all. Also i would like to note that if someone nukes Pakistan where the real terrorists are it would be nice.

I didn't realize that was an option!

I'd say at least 1/2 of the world's major problems are over the middle east and religion.

We can do without both, and we'd be MUCH happier!

I agree with most of all of your statements! I was simply trying to point out that while the majority of Arabs are Muslim, there are also Jewish, Christian, and Atheist Arabs. (in fact, I would even claim that Arabs and Jews are, at the least, cousins--and here I duck for cover--). While I can't speak for the OP here, I believe his/her point was the life of *being gay* in Israel or a predominately Muslim country?....choose between one or the other?

So I was just trying to get more data from him/her to shed some light on the *gay* situation...but clearly this topic is wavering off course....

Its an interesting question. Although I don't agree with a fair amount of Arabic traditions and social norms I feel there's something inherently wrong with Israel. I know people can see it either way but for me personally at this moment the Arabs seem to be the more just cause....

I would side with Arabs.

Israel kicked the Palestinians out of their land and continues to deny them basic freedoms and essential supplies for living.

Also I usually side the underdog. When I see a people being oppressed my natural response is to sympathize with them.

I don't sympathize with oppressors.

At the same time though this does not mean I agree withe everything about Arab/Muslim culture.

But I really can't remember the last time an Arab nation invaded another nation.

There must be some other way.
Since the dawning of time man has fought man, for money, for glory, for power, for hate, for whatever, the right and the wrong reasons.

Where have that fighting brought us, where do we stand, have we gained any insights into reality, how we live in harmony with this beautifull planet of abundence.
Have we understood what lies inside the heart of our brothers and sisters through fighting.

You ask on whos side we would fight, leaving the fight as the only option
There is always another choice.

I would rather ask, what can we do - now - to find another road than fighting. What is it really we need: Killing or fellows or more wisdom in action?
