I live in Texas just to be clear.

Why would an honest person owe the mafia money?

Its a warzone why? Because the cartels want to bring drugs into the US because there is such a high demand here for them.

It may sound bad, a 15 year old boy being killed because he threw some rocks, but consider the situation the officer was in, and ask yourself, what would you have done?

As it is being reported it is clearly a case of self defense.

This border patrol agent is a hero.

This country is at war with Mexico. Mexican citizens have been invading for years now, slowly taking over. This country's citizens need to start fighting back.

They wouldn't. Doesn't mean that we should be allowing them into our country to kill the children of stupid people who owe them money.

So that means what really? I guess either you got tired of Mexico or they got tired of you...but either way you moved on....to where? Did you go back home? Or move on to the next Country you could sneak in to?

I always like people who bite the hands of those that supply them with an opportunity. Obviously your own country could not or did not. Perhaps you are a criminally insane killer running from the law of your country...how do I know....but I wish you well and if you sneak on to my land and throw rocks at me or my family, I can assure you there will be some interesting fireworks for you to talk and write about.

But this thread is NOT about you or me...it's about a Federal Border Agent who was doing his job and protecting his country's border....as directed. Short of that...as I said very early on, I am sorry the kid got killed...I am sorry any young person dies before they fully experience life.

Here in America you are still entitled to your opinion, no matter how much we may disagree....and I respect that. Pax Vobiscum!!!

don't know if you missed what I posted a bit on up but the mexican mafia was made in America. They would exist in the US even if the border was seal tight.

I am sure they would. But they would be cut off from their sources of revenue, unless they set up grow operations stateside.

We could remove their power by legalizing pot and decriminlizing other drugs. But that would take money away from the CIA, so that obviously cannot be done.

As someone who HAS had crap thrown at him by Mexicans- I'd have shot the little bastard too.

And before any of you bleeding hearts start calling me some sort of monster- you are WRONG! I'm what's called fed up- And you can put this in the bank and you can get interest off it- The Border patrol is well past more fed up with it than I could EVER get. I never met a more frustrated bunch of people in my life..... The all time show stopper was the BP agent who had a Mexican accent so thick, you needed a chainsaw to cut thru it who told me he went to Wal Mart, and the clerks refused to serve him, because he didn't speak Spanish! The disgust, the frustration.... it was coming off him in waves.

I am amazed more dont end up riddled with bullet holes, run over, and just plain kicked into a paste, to be honest.

Well it isn't about you or me but you did put out the challange to sneak into mexico to see what happens. I only replied that I had actually done that.

Actually it was because of a girlfriend. Things didn't work out so I left. I don't have to sneak into your land I was actually raised in the US. I was in the US legally. Paid taxes, followed the law. Never threw a stone at anybody let alone a law enforcement officer. I have never bitten the hand of anyone offering me an opportunity.

I know that bad things can happen to people trecking through Mexico on their way to the US but I also know that they have no real border patrol (which was where this started) and that the gangs that operate along it's southern border are organized crime. Police officers on both the Mexican and Guatemalan side are on the take and will look the other way when these thugs are robbing and hurting people.

As to the OP it is unfortunate. I was not there but I could imagine that the BP must have felt he was in real danger and as many have said a well placed hit with a stone can kill.

Legalizing MJ and decriminalizing other drugs would also hurt the prison industry.

About taking away from the CIA. Don't you think that that is why the border is porous?

I am symbolically united with Mexicans already. I like Mexican history and have Mexican friends. We all are people and it's all good, and Corona is a damn good beer. Now, can we get back to work i.e. building an impregnable wall on Mexican border so both nations enjoy the company of each other on legal and safe basis, and no more kids will get shot. Good fences make good neighbors.

A quality end to our civil discussion which has brought us closer together as Global Citizens. Have a great day and remember....no rocks!

You know....these people are taking a risk jumping the border. With all the things that happen on the Mexican border, border patrol agents need to be ready. Bag things happen, this world ain't a happy place.

A group of Illegals, obviously with bad intent, surround a Border Agent and start pelting him with rocks. He fires his weapon in self defense. Seems logical to me.

What is weird is that people would even fault him for defending himself. Had he not, he may have been killed. Stoning a person is an age old way of killing a person. You simply can't argue that a stoning is not deadly force, because it clearly is.

As to the Mexicans response. Yeah, sure. Thousands a year dying within minutes of the border on the Mexican side and they have the nerve to criticize an Officer doing his job, for defending himself? A 15 year old is no less lethal than an 18 or 30 year old. It is Mexico's response that is racist; not the other way around. Lie all they want it won't change that fact.

Thank God most Americans are smart enough to see through that. The Mexican official likely makes money off the border and he is afraid if it gets too dangerous to cross, it will lessen his income. That is probably the real truth. That kid may have been working for the same person doing the criticizing.

All one needs to do to realize the truth of the matter is recognize the fact that this problem exists, because Mexico is such a cesspool that its own citizens are flocking to escape. If their lies were even half true, these people would be heading the other way.

Mexico has all the resources it needs to be a very productive and wealthy country. The only reason it's not is it government and culture of criminality.

Remember, you get caught going the other way without travel papers, you can do 10 years in a Mexican Hell Hole with no legal recourse. If you get sick, they don't treat you, they throw you out. If you go broke they throw you out. They have the nerve to criticize us? People who side with them can not be very smart, can they?

You take the word of a US National who is married to a Mexican National over the Border Patrol Agents, many of whom are Hispanic themselves? The fact you do that automatically speaks volumes.

I think it's just people who hate authority or Americans so they automatically assume the criminal is telling the truth? Who do you side with in regards to the 7,000 or so killed within minutes of the border on the Mexican side? The people who killed them are the same people ferrying illegals across the border along with shipments of heroin, coc aine, crack, meth and whatever else they are manufacturing there these days. Lots of these kids work for them in fact.
