Very close sighting - early 90s

The sighting depicted by my avatar took place in the daylight on a fall afternoon in the early 1990s. I was setting up the telescope to view the full moon later that evening. I glanced up to make sure I had the scope set up above the tree line and THAT (my avatar) is what I saw. It was daylight and I didn't see any lights, but it also didn't look like there were "spots" for lights. The craft was a dull black with no markings whatsoever. There was a small hump where a cockpit could have been but there was no "windows" or openings of any kind that I could see.

I had enough time to take in the view, go in the house and get binoculars, come back out, visually lock on but as I raised the binoculars it vanished! Unfortunately I was alone, and had no camera at that time.

I found out a few years later that the neighbors (mother and daughter) saw it the same day I did.

This craft displaced no air (leaves didn't flutter), made no sound, and when it left it was either so fast I couldn't follow it or it simply vanished.

The photo in the avatar is the actual location and taken from my sighting location. The craft is painted in where I saw it and as close to the size and shape as I could get it. The view is to the east. The oak under the craft has undergone some changes that the others beside of it have not. The leaves do not grow as well, half of the branches are completely bare and it has not grown any taller though the ones beside of it do.

I've no idea what this was... ours, not ours, earthly or not earthly. Your guess is as good as mine.

EDIT to add: I'd like to know if anyone else has seen this same craft?

What a shame. I've been praying for a genuine close-up photo for years...

I'm convinced these UFOs have ways of knowing when they're becoming a little too visible, even if it's just a pair of binoculars!

Wow, your sighting sounds exactly like my 2003 one. Same distance away, lovely sunny day and it's kind of the same shape too. Jet black but mine had a reddish flashing light come from the bottom. Your mock photo is a lot better than mine lol. If I can find it I'll post it here.

When you were watching it did you think the place went a bit quiet? I did. The school had just come out and there should have been a lot of traffic but when we watched the craft everything was eerily silent for a few mins.

Well, I have done numerous amount of time researching FT and the conclusion I draw is that this is alien/man technology = hybrid technolgy/bolt on. I am convinced that the FT's do not just disappear because they fly away, more like they cloak themselves using some kind of generator (like in star trek =occams razor)

I am also convinced that the FT's are being used off planet possibly something like colonisation of mars or moon projects. I too have seen a UFO with my own eyes I am not mad or delusional I am an ordinary person I pay my bills I own a house I have a lovely partner I am your typical hu-man being yet I have seen a craft not of this world, or at least you have to ask if it is ours why has it been made and why don't they use the crafts instead of mundane planes and helicopters?

My sighting left me with so many questions I began to research and that was many moons ago now, my research has taken me from area 51 to karmic meditation in the process I have become aware of a life that they keep hidden from us. You see many members will go on and on about there being no such thing, or why does the government keep it from us if they had that technology, but the truth is this is no government that we are dealing with, it is far bigger than anyone of us can comprehend. To even consider the notion that our planet is run by something other than our governments and banks is complete ludicrous or is it.

Good luck with your sightings, and if I am right 'life' picked you to see this in order to raise the awareness for a reason, once you figure that out pass it on.

Forgot to say, mine was dull black, had a hump where a cockpit should be, and the "wings" were curled up, like a manta ray's fins. When I first spotted it, it looked kind of 2 dimensional as if it was uncloaking. My last sight of it was of a silvery ball.

are you including in FTs those that are not straight edged? The one I saw had a rounded nose and wings and a "fluted" sort of tail end. It was wider than it was long and at a guess was about 15' to 20' wing tip to wing tip. ~IF~ there were pilots in there they wouldn't have had much room as it was only about 5' top to bottom, and about to 12' nose to tail.

I remember being a bit annoyed that "someone" would hover that close to me and just stare! The full impact didn't hit me until it was all over. Then I wished they'd come back for a longer look.

How big was yours?

I couldn't tell you if noises stopped or not. I don't remember hearing any other noises but that doesn't mean they weren't there. I was completely engrossed in the craft to the exclusion of all else around me. I do remember listening for the engine of the craft and there was no sound at all. No humming, whirring, roaring.... nothing. The dogs didn't bark, and they barked at everything going past on the road or pulling up into our driveway, so I don't think even they heard anything.

Did your craft move at all? Just wondering 'cos the one I saw moved slowly, like one of them small underwater subs. Kind of wobbly.

I saw a triangle at very close quarters in the late 80's...three red lights, one at each tip, black, no features, slow, silent, frightening due to size and perceived weight possibly dropping down onto us..we were convinced that it was manned...by whom I do not know. They are there.

I think the same thing. The "pilots" seemed to know when to ~cloak, leave, disappear~ . I raised the binoculars slowly and when they were in front of my mouth/nose area it was still there but when they reached my eyes... nothing. I dropped them instantly and my naked eyes saw nothing either. I didn't see it disappear or fly off. Just there one second, gone the next.

Mine didn't move at all. I didn't see it "show up" and I didn't see it "leave". I was fiddling with the telescope and picking out optics for viewing the moon. I just happened to glance up to make sure I had the scope set above the tree line and there it was. Don't ask my why I went to the house for binoculars when I had the finder scope right there?? I don't know. Binoculars was my first thought, perhaps because it was so very close.
Anyway, mine was perfectly still. No motion whatsoever.

Mine was a great deal smaller than yours, though I too felt that it was occupied. Couldn't tell you by what.

Well, I can't speak for every FT but everything suggests that they were working on FT's from the 1960 onwards. The way it looks to me is that they were created with crashed ET technology and what I call bolt on technology, basically using the technology we had with the technology we were trying to figure out. Anyhow, from what I understand is that through the late 60's after specific contact until the late 90's we (hu-man) started working with various ET in many different countries. It is certainly not just the US that have FT's. I believe that alot of the technolgy in regards to antigravity and electromagnetic energy came from NAZI germany. Anyhow, again from what I understand, the bolt on technology became understood through ET's intervention and everything has spiralled to this present day. Of course they have come alot further from FT's now.

What better way to hide the truth than to put it right infront of your eyes: TV science fiction, these people/ET know exactly what they are doing and how to do it to manipualte us all.

How did it take years for you and your neighbor to figure out that you saw the same thing!

I didn't tell my friends about the sighting... for obvious reasons, but our families are/have been friends for years.

My husband and I were talking about the shape of the craft and I made him a picture of it (as close as I could get it). The daughter who saw the craft was here one day and my husband dragged out the picture and told her I saw this. That's when she said "That is what Mom and I saw". We got to talking about when and where and while we aren't 100% positive it was the same day, the time of year and time of day was right.

Yup, Seen the same here!

1992, UK, Buckinghamshire, summer, same height, same size, also over trees, same quietness and same silent rapid exit.

No sound, not even a hum. Highly angular trailing edge.

Did you get specific "impressions" during your sighting, such as....
it was definitely "occupied". I was not afraid at all, nor shocked, but rather I was extremely curious. Looking back I wonder why I was not afraid or even mildly concerned, but I wasn't. Do you remember how you "felt" during your sighting?

As stated in an earlier post I was so focused on the craft that I completely zoned out of my surroundings, but I was not at all worried for my safety. It never even crossed my mind that I could possibly be in danger. How about you?

I was hoping someone more used to ATS would have told you how to upload a photo. The best I can do is to suggest you upload it to your personal space (Go to member tools, slide down to My Pictures, and upload it there). Then click on the image and get the "link" for it and post it here.

I'm sure there's an easier way, I just don't know what it is. Sorry.

Yeah, I wasn't frightened and I was overwhelmingly curious, especially due to the lack of sound and that fact it was just hanging there.

I did also get a sense that it was occupied and I was being watched (It's what made me look up!) but I could see no windows or markings of any sort.

I told very few people about it afterwards and it slipped out of mind for several years.

Here are the exact co-ordinates of the site. (I was just inside the Treeline to the north of the maze)

52° 3'39.24"N 0°43'27.31"W

And yup, that is a maze, Peace Pagoda and Stone Circle all within 500m of the sighting, maybe that's why 'it' was there?

Nice maze!

I told my husband and son the moment the got home, but I didn't tell anyone else for many years. There hasn't been one day go by that I haven't thought about the sighting and every day I glance up at the same spot ... hoping.

I wish someone would come take samples of the tree that it hovered over. The tree is all but dead now though the ones next to it still look wonderful.
