One of the first things that we can do is continue to spread consciousness and make a dent where we can.

Boycott BP at all costs. Don't put anymore money in their pockets. Educate friends and family on this issue so that they do it as well. A strong grassroots effort is what is needed for us to inform corporations that they cannot continue to dump on the taxpayer. If everyone showed solidarity and stopped buying from BP all at once, it would literally sink them within a few months. Possibly quicker.

thanks for your question and reply. It shows that others are really trying to critically think.

You are absolutely correct about your frustrations and I admire that you are trying to entertain both sides of the issue. I wish I could give them the benefit of the doubt, but, right now, they aren't doing much to comfort my suspicions with their lackluster attempt at a clean-up.

Thanks for your post and your compliments...

Much love to all...

I'm not sure where to post my question but I'll post it on every Oil Spill thread until I hear an answer.

Seeing the leak is gushing out at something like 10,000 pressure-pounds per square inch, it's safe to assume, nothing will be able to 'clog' it at this rate, right?
So my question is this: Why can't they re-bury it? I mean.....submerge this leaking pipe back into the Earth?

Good question.

Why not dump millions of tonnes of cement on top of it?

Or another idea would be to ring the gusher with a circular huge skirt, weighed down with massive concrete weights at the bottom, and have it extend all the way up from the bottom to the surface?

The weights will anchor the encircling skirt to the bottom, and a sealed but flexible tube of tough PVC, or other oil-proof, tough but relatively lightweight material will extend from the bottom all the way up, where the oil will collect and be pumped out.

The surface of the massive material tube, would be reinforced with rods, to maintain the circular shape, and have very large floats attached some way under the top on the surface to ensure the top lip doesn't go under the sea, and allow oil to spill out. Floats positioned around the top perimeter would be placed so around 15-20 feet of the material tube would be above the surface, to avoid oil sloshing out.

It will take many thousands of meters of material to make the skirt, but it could be done relatively cheaply and quickly.

If need be, a circle of tug boats could be used to maintain the tubes position relative to the leak.

Simple solution.

Thanks for your reply.

Yeah...that's what I mean. Why can't they place enough weight on top of this Riser and bury it?????

I don't believe there will be any way to 'clog/stuff' it. Too much pressure coming out.

So.......anyone else? Can't this pipe be buried??? And if not, why not?

Thanks

Maybe the well was leaking for longer than we think?

*I couldn't agree more. The only problem is that there are so many people that have no idea of the BIG picture. When I talk with friends and family they are like "Na that can't be true, no one would be that cruel." It''s very hard for me lately to reach people I know. It's as if I am speaking another language with them. It frustrates me because I show the evidence and it's as if it went right over their heads.

Any ideas on how to spread this consciousness?

On that one, I honestly don't know enough about the procedures to give an accurate estimate.

Well, the mere fact that you tried is commendable. Ease them into it, and explain things slowly and show them why it would benefit certain people for things like this to occur. Show them how stocks were sold, and then explain to them the amount of money that there is when it comes to disasters. Contractors always make gratuitous amounts of dollars on these things which usually are never privately owned. They always have some affiliation with the government where one hand is washing the other. Do this with love and patience. People are very thick and tend to grip to the realities that they have created in their heads as opposed to the realities that actually exist.

You are an awesome individual for even attempting this.

Kudos to you.

Much love to all...

Probably a good assessment. I know not to trust the figures and "facts" given to us by the MSM or the government.

That is a question that I cannot answer. I imagine that it might be hard to do due to the fact that it is a mile underwater. There are probably pressure issues that may make it difficult to do such a thing. However, I am not qualified to give you an adequate answer.

Excellent. You've made my day. Its wonderful to see that others are trying to spread this information as far as it will go.

Thank you for helping to spread consciousness and awareness. I couldn't be happier.

Star from me...

I had exactly the same thought immediately after hearing that term for the first time.

Here's another thought I just had after reading someone's comment about how this "accident" will cause starvation, probably along with other manufactured crises - What if they succeed in causing a deadly food shortage. Imagine if it got to the point that people are breaking doors down and beating and killing occupants for food and water. What would you do? If you're wise enough to be armed, you'd shoot them. What happens after a shooting? The police investigate. Now let's say martial law is declared, which it most certainly will be in that situation. Do you think you'll be allowed to keep your weapons, even though it was self defense? Guess again. Your home will be ransacked and ALL your weapons and ammo confiscated, and probably your food and water too, as "hoarding" will be outlawed. Now imagine this on a huge, nationwide scale. This could be one way of confiscating a huge amount of weapons. Watch for a trial run of this plan around the Gulf.

Nice...I am definitely going to check out your book. Thanks for your info and contribution. This information needs to get out there.

I wish I could keep up with threads, but with 1 hour a day of online time (and none on Sundays), it's tough. So I'm a bit late in replying. Thanks, EvolvedMinistry, for your kind words.

My book is also the solution to oil...

On a a serious note, how can our hearts not be broken, and what will it take for people to act?

I do think this was intentional, or at the very least they let it escalate to reap politically from the crisis.

I can't help but think of the many thousands that come to the beaches on spring break and the tourist, where are they now, what if they all showed up to help?

Hey- check out jwco.com. This would explain a lot of why our friends at BnC were taken under HAL and how it all could be related to this situation. It has a wealth of information on relief wells in general

John Wright has developed many advanced technologies used to detect well/well head integrity for his firm, JWCO- which specializes in blow-out prevention and response. Check out my second post in this thread if you havent already for more detail (not sure if you saw it as i did not post as a direct reply to your messages)

Best of luck!

Great thread...glad to hear so many others realise it was likely intentional.

Check this video out.

It is about a 1979 oil spill, also a "gusher", not a spill, in the very same GULF where all the EXACT SAME solutions were tried, in the same order & nothing worked then.

It went on for 9 months!

So...obviously they did not learn from that disaster & make sure they had a solution that WOULD work...if it ever happened again.

I got the link from the ATS thread, "**Gulf Oil Spill Mirrors One From 1979 EXACTLY!! AMAZING ARCHIVAL FOOTAGE

www.youtube.com...

PS: I am new to posting on forums so I hope it was ok to copy that link from another thread...also...I haven't read all the way through this thread so if this video link has already been posted...I apologise!

You are correct. Its painful to see and its even worse to think that the majority of the American public have been apathetic to this issue at best.

Much love to you Stormdancer...
