2. Why all of them say for them selves they are true and others are wrong?
3. In the end, always comes some dude to judge people?
4. all of them preaching peace, but call for destruction of their enemies.
5. And those misterious powers are reserved for high ranking priests and whatever.

While this may be, at least according to two or the worlds religions, you fail to recognize the difference between the progeny of Jacob who, renamed to Israel which means roughly "struggles with god" (oh....the irony.....) who are the collective Semitic peoples, and the zionist State of israel which has been created by men and not god; at least according to orthodox Jews .

As a bit of a disclaimer of neutrality, I subscribe to no particular religion. I simply seek the Truth, regardless of what form it may take.

There is no Grandfather-like God with a white Beard that looks like Gandalf. Or did you ever see God sitting on a Mountain writing a book called "Bible" ? If something like God exists (higher regulation) it is for sure neutral, - and it will never grasp our Chimp-like kind of thinking.

Religious fanatics who only want to allow themselves into paradise, are probably those who are wrong.

Paradise is here! Reality can be paradise, but not on a planet full of hate ant intolerance. So we decided to make our reality more like a hell. It's not about Haven or Hell, It's about up and down - the tendency. The same to good and bad. The tendency is clear - you can create or destroy. What do we?

Israel was chosen by God to bring His plan into being to save the world.

He groomed them into a nation, gave them strict laws and preserved them throughout history to bring forth His Son.

The salvation promised was first from among the Hebrews or Jewish people, so they could first benefit from His presence, so they could enjoy the long-awaited Messiah, and because they were to serve as an example to the world.

Through this process, the other people who believed in Him were adopted into the original family/nation.

He used Israel as a light bulb to show Christ's light in the world. Their story was preserved so the whole story would be available to us, the time line, the fact that God is behind it, His constant preservation and help to the Jewish people despite things that should have destroyed them.

He even said the whole world would know it was Him, because everyone could see that there is no way a small nation like Israel could survive this long without Divine Intervention. lol

Preserving them was to preserve the history of His long relationship with man, how thorough His plans are, how long ago Christ was prophesied to appear, how specific the prophecies, and to preserve the documentation of these prophecies, using Israel's national pride and strict societal rules to keep the Torah unchanged, even one period or comma.

They were given these strict rules the way Miss America contestants are restricted in what seem like old-fashioned ways. Without them, nothing would be preserved, to later be verified, fulfilled, and finally, exposed to the world through the Roman Empire.

So, anyone who believes in the Bible, believes in God, and believes in Christ is part of the "chosen".

He also said that many are called. That is what the call is, to join the family He has kept in existence throughout all their trials and all their troubles, mistakes, persecutions, and disasters.

That's the thinking, the context, and what it means based on the text and the spread of early Christianity. First for the Jews, who had been persecuted for their "one god" religion. They deserved to see Him first, and were basically the main ones looking for Him to appear.

But we are all able to be a part of that family. All are chosen by Christ. Love is the test that keeps some of us from coming. Can we even receive love, much less give any?

Christ is the test of who we think we are. His love provokes some to rage, others to joy. The chosen are actually those who choose to receive love, and who are able to do so.

This requires knowledge of true and selfless love, not an easy thing to have.
It makes His love so much more precious when we realize how imperfect and even fickle ours can be.

His never changes, no matter how much pain we must often cause Him. He has given us no reason to doubt, and every reason to give HIM the benefit of the doubt.

I mean, if dying for us isn't enough....that alone should garner a little respect and amazement.
When it doesn't, I have to question how much we really value love at all.

Have you ever been involved in creating something yourself? There is a thing often referred to as the Muse, Inspiration, etc.

It is more like that, from what the Bible writers say themselves.

I get really amused when people actually want to make a point by saying things like "God did not hold the tablets and stylus, so..."

Artists and writers, musicians, sculptors and scientists all have been on record saying that inspiration comes from somewhere outside themselves. I should take their word for it.

But if you create things of any kind, you will know what this is referring to.

It's just not a valid or even serious argument, imo.

Also, how could God not grasp our thinking? lol I don't think the Creator is puzzled by his own invention at all.

In fact, the Bible says plainly that God knows all the thoughts of man, the thoughts in his heart. It also says he knows how many hairs on on our heads, and that He is deeply and intimately familiar with every person on Earth, but that His eyes look constantly for those that love Him and His ways.

He does what He wants. We are just fortunate that He only wants good for us. He waits longer and longer so more can come, so His Son will have all that He can.

Are you a parent? If your child went off and died in service of your home, your nation, you would want every honor due to him.

All honors may not be awarded for his or her service, but you wouldn't turn any down, would you?

Why? All because of love, and your desire to see that service honored.

God feels love too, and the implications are pretty clear. All are allowed to come. But we aren't to be forced, but persuaded by love, by evidence (historical documents), and by the word of those who tell how wonderful it is to have a relationship, not with a church or with Christian people, but with Him.

It's a no lose scenario. But God is gentle and honorable, He will let us make our own decisions, and we separate ourselves accordingly.

No need to blame Him or slander His words or ways. This is our choice.

I wouldn't change anything inside this thread , i would only change the oredr of 2 letters in the title . From "Lest" i would make it "Let's" ......

Gods chosen. For a young race the Jews have some strange ideas.

If you read the bible of all other religions they too will be the chosen ones.

No. Not all.

My sentiments on this matter are the same. Good/bad, light/darkness have no value they re just categories of the same dualistic principle. Your own decission creates your reality

I hate to break it to you but # 1-3 on the 'yet to be fulfilled' list have already happened.
