Whats that movie!?

A movie came out recently (2009-2010) about a young shaolin monk, and I can remember in the trailer, he was doing all sorts of cool kung fu moves, and he even put out a bunch of candles with the swipe of his walking stick. The kid looked as if he was 14 years old.

Only one I can think of... it's not been released yet (in Australia anyway) but is due out 2010.

The first thing that came to mind is Kung Fu.

I can't seem to find it but it seems like someone did a remake/movie of the TV series (with David Carradine). I will continue to search for it.

The scene you describe sounds just like the television show opener.
I used to love that show!

I am fairly positive what you are referring to is "The Last Airbender" and it hasn't been out in theaters yet. This is probably the trailer you are remembering:
