My wife took this photo while she was in Salzburg. I was looking through her pictures and saw this photo.

Has to be some kind of Illuminati reference right?

If you notice, the sword seems out of place. Possibly it was originally intended to hold some type of staff that came all teh way to the feet. Maybe the sword represents something about Mozart's character.

The sword only seems out of place because it is made of metal.

I would suspect that if the sword were made from the marble that it would be very brittle and extremely fragile. Or perhaps it was even a marble sword that broke off during construction.

I suppose that either way, it's a mystery for the moment.

Maybe I'm missing it, but what does this have to do with Baphomet?

I have a comment.

The building your wife photographed is not Mozart's actual birthplace. He was born in "Hagenauer House" at Getreidegasse 9, which is now a museum, and that building looks like this:

The Mozart family lived on the third floor of the "Hagenauer House" at Getreidegasse 9 for twenty-six years, from 1747 to 1773. The celebrated composer, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, was born here on January 27, 1756. The building is named after the merchant and toy dealer, Johann Lorenz Hagenauer (1712-1792), who owned the building and was a friend of the Mozart family.

I am also not sure where you see the "Baphomet" figure in the photo you posted? The Baphomet figure has a goat's head with horns:

if you can't see the connection i dont' kow what to say. it's blatantly obvious.

as far as his birthplace is concerned i'll check with my wife when she gets back. maybe it's another location with his name on it for whatever reason.

I see a person holding a sword.

1) If that is "obviously Baphomet", then every single human being and statue must be too, I guess.

2) Or you are really really reaching.

I pick the second.

i didn't think anyone would have a difficult time making this connection.

Baphomet

if it was any more obvious it'd be stabbing you in teh foot. i assumed people would pick up on it right away and the discussion would be about what it could mean. not the totally obvious fact that it IS a baphomet statue.

also, the statue in the OP has a hint of breasts. makign it even more like baphomet than the washington statue is.

The only thing remotely related to Baphomet here is the positioning of the statue. And even that isnt baphomet-it is similar to the Eliphas Levi rendering of baphomet, which is nothing more than an artists rendering(note-interpretation).

The statue far more closely resembles Isis than Baphomet.

Breasts make it Baphomet?

Funny, I have gone through life thinking breasts were indicative of a woman. So my ex-wife was Baphomet?

Plus where are the crossed legs on the statue? Where is the goats head? Where are any pentagrams or crescent moons?

Believe it or not, not everything is a symbol for Baphomet or the illuminati.

The statue of "The Thinker" is in a seated position. Is that meant to be Baphomet??

are you people serious or is this just bad trolling?

the only thing is the positioning? well what on earth do you think i'm talking about? the anti-positioning? this is ridiculous.

an artist's rendering??? DID YOU THINK BAPHOMET WAS REAL??

trolls - get out of my thread. i'd rather it be empty than have you ....... in it.

You are silly

What on earth do we think you are talking about? Thats what we are all trying to figure out. The positioning isnt even exact. And again, you are speaking of the Eliphas Levi's rendering of Baphomet.
You need to research Baphomet. You obviously dont have a clue what it is, what is symbolizes, etc.

Again, this is far more likely a statue of Isis than it is some clandestine attempt to almost position something like Baphomet

And, for the record, that someone disagrees with you does not make them a troll. If anything, the lack of ability to defend your point, and to take questioning from those who see it differently expose YOU as a troll.

And it isnt your thread. It is a thread on a board for all to view. Get over yourself.

go troll someone else's thread. and grow up while you're at it.

Look, because I don't agree with you doesn't make me a troll.

You wanted people to comment, and we have. But we didn't agree and now we are trolls?

And you just added me as a foe, because I don't see Baphomet in a statue? LOL That's fine, but seems a bit petty.

BTW how old to I have to be to reply in a thread of yours? Apparently I am not old enough yet according to you. Thanks for the compliment.

with mozart's connections to the masons and the strong likeness to baphomet anyone with an IQ over 50 should be able to make this connection.

you're obviously just trolling. i've already asked you once to stop. now leave this thread and go do your business somewhere else.

i added you as a foe so that i would remember your otherwise bland personality. not because of anything you said.

also, the yellow building is right next to this building. apparently it's a small complex. it maybe be above teh mozart museum building and not his actual birth building but they're all very near each other.

So explain to me what Baphomet(who does not have anything to do with this photo) has to do with freemasonry...

Why dont you try reporting our posts and see if the Mods think we are trolling? I imagine only the person insulting others (ahem, you) as the one who will get penalized....

You tell ME to grow up, then YOU send me a u2u like that?!?

I honestly don't remember if I have friended him or not. Even if I have, I do not follow all my "friends" posts and gang up on those that disagree with them.

I do not even know what thread you are talking about where you supposedly thrashed him.

I don't post to just to post. You asked for comments. You didn't say all replies had to agree with you. I'm sorry, but I just don't see any connection.

First it was Mozart's birthplace then it was the building next to it.

Mozart's birthplace's address is Getreidegasse 9. This building seems to be nowhere near it (see photo...).

My guess: that's Themis (goddess of justice) and the building is a courthouse.
