This reminds me of the idea that during these "end times" (which only lead to new beginnings), evil will be exalted and thought of as "good,"
while the truly good will be degraded and downtrodden and thought of as "evil." This current period of tribultion, which many believe will culminate
in 2012, will bring about a new paradigm and one or more new religious foundations.
Here's an illustration of the current trend of exalting evil:
Sathya Sai Baba of India. This swami is a real piece of work and can even compete with the pedophile Christian ministers and priests that sexually
abuse many innocent children while preaching in Jesus' name. Years ago, many furthered the idea that Baba was "The Christ of India" because he
could basically duplicate every single miracle that is attributed to Jesus. People would come back from his ashram with a glazed look over their face
from witnessing his telekinetic feats -- like having a bowl of food passed around in the audience that wouldn't empty, healings, the creation of
jewelry, the manifestation of steaming hot food in empty cafeteria trays, etc.
Not all of this stuff can be accomplished through sleight of hand and stage illusion (as many have testified) although he has resorted to faking it
more and more these days because the old power isn't there like it used to be. The man also had an incredible presence and charismatic energies
manifested around him.
However, as stated, his Gifts have lessened with age.
This is probably due to the many allegations that have come out against Sai Baba (in having misused his Gifts) from being a sexual predator of young
men and boys for decades at his ashram. Unfortunately, he is protected by the Indian government, treated like a king in India, and is beyond
prosecution.
This bozo is still revered by many people all over the world -- especially by those who value power for its own sake.
Sai Baba is a classic example of a demonic or subangel prophet that is furthered by many to be a very spiritual person, one with "God" even.

But as one person in this thread has pointed out, there is indeed eventual justice which takes place in the Spirit, not in the flesh.
The wheels of karma turn slowly, but they do indeed move.
