Arizona School Demands Black & Latino Students’ Faces On Mural Be Changed To White



Hard to find even the Gallows Humor in this story, so maybe we won’t even try. Maybe it’s time to admit that large chunks of America are in the hands of unreconstructed racists and vulgar idiots, and that the popular election of a black man as president just might’ve pushed these furious, economically doomed old white people into a final rage that is going to end very, very badly. Ready? Here you go: An Arizona elementary school mural featuring the faces of kids who attend the school has been the subject of constant daytime drive-by racist screaming, from adults, as well as a radio talk-show campaign (by an actual city councilman, who has an AM talk-radio show) to remove the black student’s face from the mural, and now the school principal has ordered the faces of the Latino and Black students pictured on the school wall to be repainted as light-skinned children.

This is America, in 2010, and there’s a dozen more states and endless white-trash municipalities ready to Officially Adopt this same Official Racist Insanity.

Racism has solidified itself in the soil of America ever since the Europeans discovered this precious country. It started with the American Indians, then the African slaves, they discriminated against the Irish and Italians...and now we see more than ever...a racist attitude towards all people of color. I don't even want to refer to it as racism any more...its PURE ignorance, simple because race is socially constructed. We all put our pants on the same way, and all bleed the same color blood!.

Racism is alive and well in America. Pretty sure its alive and well all over the world as well. Thing is, it isn't just the old white people. There are young white racists, young and old black racists, young and old yellow racists, etc etc. It is a disturbing fact but a fact nonetheless. All you can do is tough it out. No one is going to see things your way, so when confronted with this kind of ignorance, it is best to ignore it and tough it out. You may not like this (I certainly don't), but there isn't a thing you can do about it.

This is just MSM lies. This story is a BS hoax. No way would this really ever happen in America, at least not without a million man march. I don't buy the MSM lies!!!! What a crock. Lol, who printed it the National Inquirer?

sounds just as racist as the folks you are condeming, the whole thing sound like a set up for for the protest crowd , Prescot Arizona is like 93 percent white, makes no sense for the mural to be painted the way it was , it certainly doesnt represent the racial makeup of the school.

Racism will die. Racism didn't exist until the 1700s before then it was cultural-ism, and if one adapted to the others culture it didn't mater what their skin color was. Racism came about as a way for the colonists to justify owning slaves in their mind. It took about 100 years for racism to fully take hold. Experts have suggested it will take about the same amount of time for racism to go the was of extinction. Racism first started going out in the 1970's so racism should be nearly extinct by 2070. Of course their will always be a handful of individuals that will be racist just as there was a handful of non racists back when racism fist took hold.

Racism will never die... Never is a very, very long time, friend. Take a look back into time... Jim Crow in the south. The Indian Wars. Bigotry could be found in nearly every facet of life in America. Some blatant, some not so much... But in the past decades it has improved, in large part because of the exposure via the internet, TV, even movies, to other peoples and places.

Is everything hunky dory? No. But it's getting better. It'll be better tomorrow, and the next day even better... There will always be those who believe that certain shades of color are somehow superior...but it's a dying breed, and someday, we all fervently hope and pray, it'll go the way of all outmoded belief, into the dustbin of historical oddities.

america is one of the few countries that even pretends to not be racist. go live in saudi arabia for a while and then tell america how racist we are.

This is true. Then there was the movie 'Birth of a Nation' (working title was 'The Clansman') in 1915 that was still used by the KKK in the 70's as a recruiting tool. It's still the best selling silent movie ever. it's full of lies, bias, and it tries to re-write history. It helped to spread racism in the States more than anything else since.

Typical Hollywood, it hasn't changed, it was used to spread lies and racism then as it does now. Hollywood is responsible for your culture, almost every facet of it. People really don't think for themselves they are lead, and if they have no one to follow they're lost. The very system we live in conditions us to not think for ourselves but follow authority and to look to them for all our answers.

I know it's a cliche but the majority of the population ARE sheep.

The principal has many options including adding additional faces, paint over the whole thing with the standard school colors, add another mural, tell everyone to get a life, etc...

I don't like using the word RACE because people misuse it. Biologically, there is one race of people on the planet so calling people of different colors, a different race is simply scientifically incorrect.


The other problem we're going to run into is that this event is going to attract leaches like jesse jackson and al sharpton who are going to use this to make racist remarks. jackson and sharpton are as bad as the kkk for inter-ethnic relations.

I would like to say that yes, this is very unfair. But, however, The europeans were also treated unfairly throughout time, it wasn't only the Europeans that did that type of thing. Also, race IS NOT A SOCIAL CONSTRUCT (please show proof). There are wayyyy too many differences. Yes we put our pants on the same way and yes we all bleed red but dogs and birds and fish bleed red too. Does that make them a social construct?
These "evil White people" are probably just as fed up with the affirmative action and reverse racism that has been going on towards whites for sometime now. Now, in the past whites did some stupid things but are you aware that the slave trade was big in Africa before the Europeans made their presence known? Are you aware that it was THE BLACKS THAT SOLD THEIR OWN INTO SLAVERY TO WHITEY?
I agree 100% with the Arizona law 1070 but as far as "whitening" the murals of the ethnic students, I just think that is a disgrace. I am ashamed that this has happened.

I would also like to state for the record that scientist can determine the race of a person from the skeletal remains, minus the skull. Now, knowing this, how is race socially constructed? That to me is a narrow minded way to look at things.

Racism will never die. Racism has a new political correct term and it is called favoritism. You see it a lot in the professional world.

I hope racism doesn't die, how else will we determine who is brainless, spineless and un-evolved!!.

In all seriousness, racism will probably always be with us, we are programmed at some base level to be loyal to our tribe, clan, or to others like us. Some act on that (racists) and others don't (normal people). I hope I'm wrong, the world would be a better place without racism, man I hope I'm wrong.

I read some place lately that we are all one race. The human race. But yes I agree racism will never die. I see people all the time who pretend their not a racist but in the evening they drive their SUV's home to their Racially identified neighbor hoods where the people call the cops when they see a different skin color walking down the street and hide behind their curtians going "Oh my god. We have to move if they see a different color walking down the street". Then the next day at work say a racial word in front of them and they are like "Oh my god did you hear that?". Even for people of color they can throw the blows but call one of them a racist and not be their color and the fight is on though some of them will say your right. I hate those people.

I say the experiments have failed. It is time to back to the old ways. Let everyone pay taxes to their community of their own color and go to school with their own color. Let the other colors take care of themselves. The experiments have failed its over with. It is time for everyone to except things as they are. Ever race belongs to their own kind and it is wrong and racist to force different racist to live together. The age of TV has warped our minds. This is not fantasy iland. Lets drop these pretend games and go back to the way it was. Not with slaves but with each to their own kind. Lets stop pretending. Lets stop the games.

I see one of the problems as whenever there is some instance of racism big or small, the MSM turns it into a circus and makes a huge issue of it, which makes the end result MORE racism...
It is like a disease.. you find one virus and spread it all over the media and suddenly it is millions of cells...

What people should be doing is shunning racism period, not advertising it all over and at every opportunity... That is what is called fostering a climate for racism... Why do people do this??

Not for nothing...I'm not saying that Europeans were the only ones to commit atrocious acts towards a people. I was talking particularly about what happened in America with the American Indians and African slaves.
There is no scientific basis for race. There was a study done that showed that a black and white person's DNA had more in common than two black or two white people. At the bottom of my response, I will include links to sources to support my claim. Yes there are waayyy too many differences, but those differences are the ones that you can see with the human eye...its not in any way scientific. If we were all blind...we would all be considered one race, because inside...we are all the same. You can't addd animals to the equations because even though they are all animals, they are different creatures...felines..canines..etc. We are all human beings, no matter the color, culture, language or religion.

Reverse racism? I did not call the whites evil...because that would be a generalization and stereotyping, which I do not condone. But the truth of the matter is...the majority of white people from the 16th and 17th century started this whole idea of racial inferiority in this country. Of course, there has always been racism...but that idea of racial inferiority profilferated right here in the Americas. (Encomiendas, chattel slavery system, caste system)

I'm aware that there was a system of slavery that existed in Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Asia before slavery in America happened. But did you know that this was the WORST form of slavery that ever taken place? Its called Chattel slavery...when a slave CANNOT buy his or her freedom. Where slavery is passed down maternally, and where a slave is treated like property and less than a human. Slavery has been apart of cultures for eons. But the type of slavery that existed in Africa and other continents were not comparable to the atrocious acts that took place here in America. Look it up. Thats why the Africans sold their slaves. My personal opinion...had they known that it would turn into the institution that it did, I don't believe that would have sold any human to the European oppressors.
