Interesting that the twitter page that was giving updates on the Rachel was literally just deleted in the last two minutes.

What right do they, the Israelis, have to arrest ANYBODY, in international waters?
This is crap.

My question is: If satellite coms were jammed, how was this information getting out? Who was feeding this info for the tweets?

unfortunately, the Corrie and other flotilla have stated in advance the intention to run the Israeli blockade which in turn gives the IDF the right to board those vessels in international waters since they are at war with Hamas, a known terrorist organization.

I don't understand why Israel is doing this stupid stuff. I've never taken sides, but gad damn, is Israel that ignorant and blind to how other people view them?

If they want the hearts and minds of the world to be on 'their' side, why do stupid stuff like this? The thing that comes to mind is this is all to instigate a conflict and go all out.

What exactly IS a "known terrorist organization"?
In your words.

Sounds like no one was hurt ... if you don't attack soldiers, they won't shoot. It's as simple as that.

I give the Rachel Corrie crew props for being peaceful in their mission.

I guess the Turks thought better of the idea of escorting the Rachel Corrie.

All talk and no action, or just sensible??

"Report from the ship's passengers. They have NOT been boarded. Followed by Israeli warships only. #Flotilla"

God damn Israelis. It's nearly impossible to get the truth. This is why I'm annoyed that there's no live feed.

Interesting indeed.
I seriously doubt after so much and largely unexpected attention focused on the last debacle that there is going to be any violence this time around. The crew and passengers of the Rachel Corrie apparently had a made a pact to offer no resistance to an Israeli interdiction this time so maybe those lead paint balls won't be 'nessecary'. Ah well, there goes the concrete.
Any more news from the Israeli Embassay in Dublin?

How is it the Israeli's fault? From what I've read so far it's from an Irish radio station, it is confusing. It's kind of funny how we all reacted against Israel, even my mind was kind of swayed towards Israel.

Ummmm yeah if you read any of the reports leading up to this they all said that the members of the Rachel Corrie would not resist. Nothing is going to happen here.

I am willing to bet the farm that the boarding party has orders not to harm anyone, no matter what happens.

That would lead to war with Turkey.
