So you apparently believe what you see on television. One gunshot brings an aggressor down, they die instantly, so any further gunshots are not needed.

WRONG.

In a shootout with the FBI, two aggressors were shot many times each before they dropped their weapons and ceased firing.

William Matix: S&W M3000 12 gauge shotgun, 1 round #6 shot fired. Killed after being shot six times.
Michael Platt: Ruger Mini-14 .223 Remington carbine, at least 42 rounds fired, S&W M586 .357 Magnum revolver, 3 rounds fired, Dan Wesson .357 Magnum revolver, 3 rounds fired. Killed after being shot 12 times.

Both aggressors were able to shoot and kill or injure several FBI officers before they died.

This was one of the first videos I was shown in training, as it displays this exact fact. People can still kill, and run, after they have been shot.

I would imagine the gunshots to the head were the final ones, but even then a head shot is not fatal for a time. Many people do not even *realize* they have been shot. It takes more than just a few second to die, and someone can inflict a lot of damage with a hijacked weapon in that amount of time.

The soldiers fought better, once they were attacked. I guess yes, we should condemn them for being trained.

Thank you for proving that you buy into the BS fed to you by the anti-Israel crowd. The ones who watch Israel get attacked by multiple countries at once and then claim Israel stole the land won during war. The ones who talk about Israel shooting children and fail to say anything about Hamas killing families and using children as human shields, about the atrocities committed by Hamas. I could go on forever, but people like you prefer to ignore the facts in your hatred of Israel and the Jews.

OK - we're really derailing the thread now, (sorry).

Yes - it's true - Hamas have killed families, Hamas are terrorists I agree, they have used children as human shields, terrible atrocities have been committed on both sides, I understand, I don't condone any of the actions. Both are guilty here.

We see it from different sides so we disagree. There are facts about atrocities from both sides. For me though, on balance, Israel comes out as being the more naughty one by a long way, that's all. Difference of opinion. To me they took the land by force & are still building on new land they shouldn't be all the time.

I don't hate the Jews, I'm against the government of the State of Israel (zionists) & the way they treat & provoke Palestine. The way they behave to the rest of the world as well. I'm also against quite a lot of governments of quite a lot of countries because of the way they treat their own people as well as other countries.

Anyway I'm going to shut up now so others can discuss the MV Rachel Corrie news.

There is no way to condone the violence the Palestinians inflict on the Israelis but check the history (the full story) & it's more than obvious why they're so angry at Israel's behaviour towards them since 1946-ish.

I agree, you shouldn't be condemning any people to death. However, you're wrong about God. Israel are God's people. It's not about being a "favourite". They are his people and he has committed to them through numerous covenants.
We can all find favour in God's eyes by recognising Jesus as our Lord and saviour and knowing that he died on the cross to take away our sin.
