When I was very young, its one of my earliest memories, I had a dream that my Mother went behind our Christmas tree and asked me to follow here. I followed her and I was in a orchard surrounded by stone walls. My Mother had transformed into a metal stick figure and I would chase her around the trees.

It sounds crazy and harmless. But it was one of the most terrifying dreams I have ever had for some reason.

If you search for "the slender man" on google images, you get tons of images of what this entity is supposed to look like. There are videos of the slender man on youtube. He looks like Jack Skellington from A nightmare before Christmas or he looks like a stickman.

People are calling him the slender man these days, so you'll get more results if you search for him with that name.

There are old black and white photos as well as more recent ones that appear to show this entity.

It is said that he watches children or has an interest in them, and appears when there is a child kidnapped or an event such as a fire or where a child will die.

It is also said that he kills victims and drinks their blood or disembowels them and leaves the body in the forest, hung up in a tree.

Because humans can only see into three dimensions, up and down, left and right, and depth, I think if the slender man is real, he is slipping into ours through another dimension. Maybe this slipping in and out deforms his form here.

I don't know if the slender man is really evil or if he is just curious. It could be the deaths or accidents he is attributed to are not his fault. It could be that he appears to draw energy from the tragedy or he is curious.

Or it could be that he is simply some strange entity that people have invented after seeing something strange in the background of photographs.

"slender man" is a made up "meme" that started on something awful then exploded on 4chan's paranormal board, /x/.

Way to bust an urban myth my friend, unless YOU are "the slender man" typing on a slender laptop keeping the slender truth from us all...

I guess we will never know for sure...

all very interesting... well to be honest the link to the website is enlightening. the internet has a interesting way of creating urban myths but i wonder if individual experiences creates a belief in myths like this one and if so maybe the urban myths aren't myths but different peoples account on an unexplainable topic. the fact that i found it as stickmen and this person's account if of slender man is also weird but maybe stickmen is just another way of perpetuating this man's imagination.

EDIT To Add:

also the original account i found isn't of a man in a suit with really long limbs but of completely black two dimensional creatures with no other features other than they look like life size living stick figures.

After actually reading the description you linked to I'm pretty sure these stick men are hallucinations, manifestations of some form of psychosis, optical illusions, hoaxes or some combination thereof.

This explanation seem more like the truth. the shared experience the one person describes could be caused by suggestion and either a lot of tired kids or even a bad trip
