Are stickmen real?

Okay so I read this just today. Apparently people are seeing stick people. i do not know if this is real as i have NEVER heard of this before today.

At this LINK it states people have reported seeing and even being followed by stick people.

At this LINK on person describes an experience shared by him and his friends where they actually interacted with an apparition.


These kids described a black blob. could it be oil? forget the zombie apocalypse its now time for stick men apocalypse.... keep an eye out for top hats...

i have never heard about this but it seems there a number of cases. I intend on looking into this more but was looking for someone who may have more sources about these events.


besides the obvious joke i am completely serious about this thread. just read an article describing it and a blog about a particular account and am curious about it.

wow, that's weird, hilarious, freaky, terrifying, seems like a bad joke, hysterical, all in one!!!

i want to laugh, scream, and try to find these things, but it all just seems like an awful joke!!!

Hmm this is very new to me..but very interesting. At first I thought maybe they were referring to shadow people, with simply a different name but these are completely different. Sorry I can't be of much help, I would be interested to see if anyone else knows about these things.

Stickmen, eh? Yeah, there are plenty of anorexic people out there.

tell me about it. I didn't take it serious at first and not sure if i do yet but it is interesting none the less

I'm almost glad I just see shadow people, although I haven't seen them for about a year. Before then though, at least once a week for a few years time.

(On a less, er, same level of seriousness...can you chase them with an eraser? Couldn't resist that one!)

Not that I believe in either thing, but the description could easily fit a 'grey' as well

the 1st article makes a clear distinction between shadows and sticks. shadows are fleeting but the sticks seems to hang around and interact to a much greater extent.

Im gonna have to go with NO on the stickmen!

one things I dont like about sites like these is they dont even offer the whole accounts of these events as evidence. No names, usualy no places. Just urban legends and tales heard from a friend of a friend.

One thing that did truly pic my mind, and i would like to read more about are the black eyed children. I had never heard of this phenomenon. well, looks like i have some googling to do!

while your googling that maybe you could google stickmen.... as you are interested in the black eyed kids just as i am interested in the stickmen but you just shoot it down but the black eyed kids had the same amount of info on them.

Man stickmen are strange, today was the first I've ever hear of them.

I said that b/c physically speaking, stickmen seem to be less likely than the black eyed kids. Even though both are most likely urban legends.

well i found a lot more about the kids than the stick figures

I saw a video once on youtube of some guys just clowning around outside, taping themselves it seemed for no apparent reason, other than to just have fun. In the background was some sort of viney plant, like wisteria. Then one of the vines starts moving, and it actually...grew legs and arms and slowly began walking away.

No one in the video even reacts to it. They said it was only after watching the video a few times that anyone even notices this stick thing walking away.

Whatever it was, it didn't seem dangerous. It seemed to be slowly trying to get away from the humans without being detected.

I mean, how much harm can a viney sort of stick being do to anyone? If I saw one, I'd probably be really curious after I got over the shock of it all. Once I realized I was bigger than it, I'd probably want a closer look.
It would probably have more to fear from me, as I'd be trying to get it.

Could they be examples of this phenomenon going back a long time indeed. These are but a few pics, and not all portrayals show this kind of figure. Many are more squat.

I wonder how many reports from Oz there are in modern times?
