Putting the spill into perspective

So my friend sent me this link. And honestly it completly shocked me. I had no idea how big this spill was.

Thanks for posting this, Superdebz. It really helps put the spill into a new perspective. The situation is so sad. Seems like it's kept up-to-date and fairly accurate since they get their data from the NOAA too.

On a lighter note, question 3 in their FAQ's made me smile a bit.

if you turn the oil spill on its side its practicly the lenght and breth of ireland this I had no idea it was so big I feel so angry at the devistation this will cause and how such a disastor isnt getting the news it deserves
