If you were in charge, how would you reveal aliens to the world?

I have read alot of posts concerning hints by the world governments of a coming alien invasion or massive ET disclosure. Many to me seem a little secretive and vague to be considered the right way to do it. So, ATSer's, my question to you, if you had all of the information and power of a National Government leader how would you disclose and prepare the population for such a huge paradigm shift?

I would invite them over for a big BBQ on the Whitehouse lawn. Nothing says disclosure like a good old cookout!

Hopefully we would not be the meat for the cookout. Good idea though. Can you imagine Obama with a beer in his hand talking about baseball with a three foot grey? One of the aliens would probably drink too much and fall in the pool.

I would introduce them after i have managed to get them to confiscate every F"ing weapon and put them where humans would never find them, then i would introduce them at a major event, where the global audience is more likely to watch on a larger scale.

I would probably introduce people to themselves before I reveal anything beyond the earthly realm. That's scary enough.

There was a similar thread awhile ago.

I would do it through movies. I would make a movie that shows exactly what we know of aliens...make it a blockbuster...make sure the majority of people see it. Wait 5 years for everyone to kind of forget about it...and then come out and say "you know that movie 5 years ago....all true".

Best response yet! This has always been my thinking, and part of the reason for the thread. I see any disclosure as being gasoline on the fire that is human nature. We would probably all kill each other out of fear and paranoia.

Did we just discover that aliens are visiting earth or have we already known for some time ?

I would announce it here @ ATS under the Late Breaking News forum. I'd have Phage announce it to help lend it credibility.

I'd provide pics, video, and back up sources links.

The entertaining part would be watching the debunkers make fools of themselves be put down on the historic record!

I wouldn't hide anything in the first place so we would all learn together.

I agree it might cause chaos, that's not human nature though but a consequence of divide and conquer used against us by the elites.

Press conference and media blitz. If they're good aliens, what's the point of hiding it? If they're bad aliens, it's better to be prepared and get used to the idea.

If I was in charge, I'd also make sure Greer, CSETI, Project Camelot, Project Avalon and the Exopolitics crowd were left out in the cold...unless they were bad aliens. If it was bad aliens I'd make them ambassadors at gunpoint!

Well, first I would slowly get the public to start hating them aliens by media outlets and top dollar films.

Then I would send some of my own top secret military controlled UFO's to cause and reap havoc amongst the streets of its good people.

Then, after the whole world is ready to solidify against these "aliens" under 1 all powerful government, I would then brief the world on our new Enemies.

First which axiom are you using? As far as disclosure goes I would keep it as truthfull as possible 2 examples.

ex1. If they are hostile I would tell the Earth these visitors are here been here for a while they want what we got and all we can do is fight them to the death or become slaves. We picked fight to the death so globally 2 to 3 firearms will be given to every civilian in every country 1 rifle assault 1 rifle sniper 1 a 500 or 50 desert eagle just incase they got thick skin .

ex2. If they were humble I would broadcast them to the world on live television with callins to see how patient they are with the general populace. If they dont show any signs of being upset after a globes worth of calls and answers then we can invite them to a global dinner in all the nations so they can taste the fine foods Earth has to offer if they can consume bio materials and they can bring their foods to Earth as long as their foods wont cause nothing more then a minor stomach ach from eating to much giving Earth the oppurtunity to see them eat with us and ease some nerves of those of us that may still be worried about them eating us. After the global broadcast and feast create meeting areas where humans and non humans can meet and interact together.

This is one of the best questions Ive seen in a long time!

I would gather important secular and religious leaders together before disclosure. The ones with calm demeaners. I would explain what the public would soon be faced with and ask how they would let the world in on the worst kept secret of all time. After getting their input, I would hold a press conference and do the big "revel".

I would make Illuminati&co(George Bush,etc) and Terrorist Group(Osama and co) to stand in stage. Suddenly the aliens appear ,beat and shoot the crap out of them. I will announce " World Peace is finally here and so are Aliens".
