Can being too attractive get you fired? Have you seen the movie Erin Brockovich? Anyway, yes, it can. You see, if a manager feels threatened, he might fire or not hire someone who could steal his job away just with their good looks. This is also the reason managers hire people who are less educated and experienced than they are. They don't want to be threatened. But what do I know? I just have a management degree.

Now that I've looked through the rest of the photos her manish jawline and square frame lead me to believe she may be trans-gender.

What? She definitely doesn't look transgender. I think the problem here is that you like dudes.

also, did you notice the size Twelves on that Gold Digger ? lol

Dude I think I'm in trouble. I guess now I know why I never get hired anymore. She's got the looks, and I would kill to be her, I am seriously ugly. I mean I wrote a whole post on it. Anyway, Now I can't even get my foot in the door because They hire for good looks. OMG!!!! At least if I get hired in the first place I'll know it's for my qualifications, and if I get fired it'll be because someone with the same qualifications came along and looked a lot better than me. I am not jealous and I do think her attitude sounds a little IAP to me, that's Italian American Princess...I've known a few in my life. And for those who say 5'6" isn't tall, you really know how to make an 5'2" female feel good...
Thanks...again.

OH GAWWWWWWWD I'm a short ugly troll, at least I am not heavy yet.

Wow I want to go commit suicide now

At any rate if she feels she will have ahard time getting another job, they're always looking for hot prostitutes. She should go into the business. She could keep up her lifestyle and then some. It's just a thought.

There is a local bank, near my house that has a teller that is a real eye popper. Big tits, thin stomach, 4 inch heels, skirt.

Can I sue the bank, under the pretense that they are intentionally hiring good looking women tellers to seduce and sell me additional banking services for a small monthly fee?

Whether the woman in the OP was really fired for being too pretty is debatable, probably unlikely. However numerous contributors to this thread have pointed out that while it may not be happening in her case, it really DOES happen sometimes where women don't get hired because they are too pretty.

So it seems like the prettier women are wishing they were less pretty (well that's HER claim anyway and a good looking woman friend of mine had the same problem, she was always being hit on) and the less pretty women were wishing they were prettier? It sounds like a case of the grass is always greener.

So maybe women who aren't getting hit on 20 times a day every day could consider that a blessing. The women it happens to don't seem to like it much. And some of my Asian friends would love to be over 5' tall, there's nothing wrong with 5'2".

Let us change the things we want to and can, let us accept the things we can't change, and let us have the wisdom to know which is which. We'll all be happier that way.

As long as pretty women exist, we will have discord and strife in society.

That's ok with me.

I like a little bit of war myself.

It is an advantage of the ugly. We get left alone for the most part. Now, another advantage is anonymity. Ever been in a meeting with a bunch of guys and wanted to know what they really thought of you? Bring an ugly woman. We literally become invisible to men. Just leave the room and they spill their guts. I've listened to it happen more than once in my life. The trick is not saying anything more than a feeble hello to begin with.

I'm sure some women don't get hired because they are too hot for the job so to speak. It also happens to people with masters and doctorates. It's called being overqualified. Of course you do have the petty people who are threatened but, by and large it's because no one wants to pay more than they have to. Yes, pretty folks do come at a premium.

I think that people tend to mistake "sexy" for beautiful.
(Not that sexy can't be beautiful, or beauty can't be sexy)

Check back in a couple years when she's at the senior center.
It's likely she'll be having the same problems.
Not very pretty really.

Why bother? It doesn't seem to matter I am almost praying for 2012 to be the end. It means I won't have to do anything anymore, not even breathe! I think it just isn't worth it anymore. Eh.

She certainly isn't 'all that' , in my opinion .

Nice looking ? Yea , I'll give her that . TOO HOT ? Gimme a break .

Nothing more than a PR move , in my opinion .

She will be posing for Playboy magazine before it's over .

Wait and see .

Place your bets now .

Can a beautiful young lady (or man) be discriminated against in this day and age. Absolutely! Please allow me to relate a personal story.

Twenty-five years ago I was interviewing applicants for my assistant. One girl who entered my office was absolutely stunning--about 5'5", 120 pounds, 35-22-35 (just a guess!), blonde hair and just about the prettiest face I have ever laid eyes on. I remember absolutely everything about her except her qualifications for the position. I don't think I ever asked or did not listen when she told me. My mind was elsewhere. She was my last interview.

As I was about to toss out all of the other applications and ascend into my personal nirvana I thought of my wife and the fact that only about 30% of my week was actually spent in the office. That left 70% of my time having to deal with the unfortunate consequences of this possible action. My final decision was a mathematical no-brainer. I hired a very nice competent lady twice my age and girth and remain happily married to this day.

Moral of this story:

A man must always try to think with his bigger head.

Hello Idyserenity,
I hope that you can see through the ugliness that society has mislabeled as beauty.

What an ugly society that would make people feel that they are unworthy because they are either born with a certain body type or feature, or because they do not alter their body or wear costumes that change them into a certain "look".

If I were one to judge a person by thier looks, I would say that D. Trump looked like someone who stuck a set of teeth in his butt and called it a face. Funny that someone like that has the nerve to judge what a so called beautiful woman is.

The same goes for others who judge. If they are not the most so called "beautiful" then how do they have the nerve to judge others?

Likewise, if those judging others feel that they are one of the most "beautiful" how ugly of them to judge others they see as less fortunate.

There is real beauty in the world and there are those who appreciate it, but do not let the pettiness of society rob you of your beauty and your beautiful life.

Hugs

Her feet aren't even that big, plus she's 5'6". The shoes she was wearing, and clothes allude to her "manliness".

Penis.

No Free. The point I was trying to make was it is better to have an
unbruised bigger head. Wives do not like their husbands having beautiful and sexy assistants.

I remember seeing that article when it first appeared. It started off with complaints about her dress code, but of course has now been sensationalised into something else. Unsurprising that the male boss will be portrayed as the bad guy and the female employee as the sweet innocent one.

Wow. She's certainly full of herself.

She looks like any other 40 year old woman. Like a cast member of that "menopause can be sexy" show, Desperate Housewives.

I KNEW that comment was inevitable.. no, she does not look like an average 40 year old women.. where do you live? :O

Full of herself certainly, but good looking nonetheless.

She's nothing overly spectacular but she's sexy, voluptuous, really good looking in some pictures.

At the same time I routinely see men commenting on mediocre or downright ugly girls.. sort of putting them on a pedestal, I don't even know what all that is about.. I'm dumbfounded.
You'll get guys drooling over average or even ugly girls.
Then again you get those kind of guys with absolutely no taste or standards in real life too..

Ugh..
