Is Israel Important?? Critical to the World???

Keep in mind, I have nothing against Israel. Israel to me is no different than any other country.

But why are there so many threads on Israel??? It is a small little country in the middle east with population less than 8 million. Why has this been so much concern lately??

Why are there so much threads on Israel attacking a boat on ATS? Who cares???

I guess its because a lot of people think thats where all the trouble comes from,where WW3 will start.It does seem like a time bomb waiting and when you put Israel in your post people take notice.The whole Mid East is just a violent area,maybe they will see the light one day in more ways than one.

Ask average American on their Knowledge of Israel...
What is their Capitol???
What is their religion???
What is their language???

Average American will get all these questions wrong.

The israelis have been making war with their surrounds for millenia. Nothing has changed, its just another media event to distract you from the truth.

It's not the fact they are always surrounded by war, it's the 2ndary affect, where the reserve bank, rich jews, lobby groups et al. have impact in all the western countries.

Why, seriously why have the Jews have been kicked out of Europe over 15 times??? Why?

All true..And ask them where there tax dollars are going...
Maybe same answer.
But lots go to this small nation with only 8million people.

Why you ask? Because they own the US and Obama has increased their power...

I have no problems with Israel or Jews, they have every right to exist and to prosper.

The US has supported Israel since its beginning in 1948 both domestically and militarily. After what the Jew endured during ww2 its no wonder Jews will retaliate when attacked with over whelming force, to me it seems to be a survival mindset when you consider a country and a political ideology attempted to exterminate them from the planet.

There is a cyclic pattern of violence in this part of the world that seems to be unending.

Many wish to see Israel being the more powerful country both politically, militarily, and financially, lead the way in the peace process, but instead of showing leadership towards peace they seem to adopt tactics and policy that just prolong this conflict.

The tactic of terrorism is being used against them because its the only real option they have, the Palestinians do not have a army with tanks and they don't have a air force or a navy. So its easy when Israel Retaliates for a suicide attack and kills innocent women and children for the leadership to recruit suicide bombers to hit back anyway they can. Both sides feel they Must hit back......BOTH!

Settlements also just add fuel to the fire. They bulldoze whole neighborhoods displacing people that hardly have anything to begin with and then move right on in.

Anyway they will Never be peace on Earth till these groups of people either learn to live in peace with each other, or they annihilate us all.

What many forget is the history pre-1948. Radical Jews used the same terror tactics killing the people of Palestine in order to claim a foothold in the area. While the rest of the world was dealing with the end of WWI and the misery of the interwar period, these JEWISH terrorists were killing and undermining the people who had been living in the area for centuries. Only after the atrocities of Hitler did the world take notice of the squatters in Palestine and placed them in the same category as the survivors of the Final Solution. The ones already there weren't poor jews but a small armed outcropping seeking to destroy the way of life of the indigenous people.

israel is the western world watch dog against the muslim fanatics. not having israel would be like what happened when the US destroyed iraq. Iran came to power
