There is the Possibility that BP may have contracted Xe formerly Blackwater to help secure the oil soaked areas from reporters.

I also had it confirmed to me by a fellow Militia Member that some Louisana Law enforcement is enforcing BP's rule 'no media allowed'. (edit to add: On Monday, a Daily News team was escorted away from a public beach on Elmer's Island by cops who said they were taking orders from BP.) I myself want further confirmation and Photos so we will be working on that.

I would also like anyone else that can help in confirmation of this as well.

I am not trying to fear-monger, but if it turns out to be a fact that Xe is involved that is big news.

It seems BP is trying to cover things up from going public.

So I ask if you are in the area like myself lets try to get some pics and video of the bastards and blow the lid off this thing.

If that is the case, it's frightening. What gets me is that Xe/Blackwater is on almost everybodies rolodex it seems. Is it me or is large corporations starting to appear like they are feifdoms that can do what they want within reason and is only answerable to the amount of money they pay to the king/govt..

I wouldn't be at all surprised. It would make a lot of sense for them to hire Xe as they are presumably some of the best. Now, what are they hiding?

the fact that BlackWater is used by the US gov. is a proven fact.

but implying that blackwater is directly involved with the oil disaster without any backing evidence is a little irresponsible.

gimme some facts ...i'll jump on board.

"confirmed by a fellow militia member" ain't all that credible..sorry.

Although...BP's long history of shady dealings are reasons not to trust anything they do..

May I ask what basis there is for such an assertion?

BP's Actions towards Main Stream Media are only part of the story. Alternative media are having the same issues. There are Youtube Videos out there where BP contractors and USCG have warned media. I have a close friend that had a friend that witnessed Local LE wearing their Uniforms but off duty, moonlighting for BP.

I also attempted last Saturday to visit Grand Isle LA officially representing the EOC and was told a formal meeting and briefing would not be possible. They said BP is in charge of the oil soaked beaches and Marshes.

One of the EOC guys did get to talk to the mayor of Grand Isle face to face and he reported back to the EOC the results of that conversation.

The mayor said that BP and the USCG ( the Government ) Are choking the flow of information. The only news that will get out must go through BP first.

Grand Isle did not want to put up with that and thats why the seized the boats under contract to BP. BP allowed the oil to wash ashore and kept the skimming boats at the dock.

Now that we have word that XE and LE may be also involved that raises flags. So I know there are other ATS members that may be able to also confirm or debunk this rumor.

That is my purpose for starting this thread.

Well the guy is an old Nam vet and ATS member as well. If he tells me something is going on time and facts will reveal he is right.

I wouldn't have posted it on ATS if I didn't have high confidence in the source.

Why would the people in Big Oil want money so badly? Is there not a limit to what money can buy?
There must be something deeper

I def agree with you on the fact that BP is hiding things and the only way we are going to find things out is by people in the area who are willing to try and get pics and evidence like yourself.

I wish I knew. Anytime the Media is restricted the people behind the restriction are hiding something. This seems to be the case in South Louisiana. However here in Mississippi we will put up with a media blackout. I will go in myself and use my EOC credentials to take photos and put it out there. I would also escort media as well.

The truth needs to come out.

As soon as Oil hits the shore here in South MS that is indeed from this BP spill I will collect samples and send them off for independant anailisis.

Oil companies use mercenaries all the time, whats the big conspiracy?, google Nigeria. Or is it because they may be using them on hallowed American soil, which we all know WOULD BE THE LAST STRAW!!!!

If we find them in MS and they are violating our rights and the Constitution, it will not be good.

That's all I will say about that.

The media will have access even if it may require breaking the law.

The beaches and the marshes are all public property. No corperation has the right to restrict our access.

Media Claim Access To Spill Site Has Been Limited

BP contractors are operating alongside the FAA and Coast Guard at a command center that approves or denies flight requests. Charter pilots say they have been denied permission to fly below 3,000 feet when they have reporters or photographers aboard.

Those special flight restrictions, imposed on May 12, cover thousands of square miles of the Gulf and a broad swath of Louisiana's coast. Normally there are no restrictions on flying.

So flying over the spill or marsh is not an option.

Other media, including The Associated Press, have reported coverage problems because their access has been restricted, though not all have linked the decision to BP. Government officials say restrictions are needed to protect wildlife and ensure safe air traffic.

Ted Jackson, a photographer for The Times-Picayune newspaper in New Orleans, said Saturday that access to the spill "is slowly being strangled off."

A CBS news story said one of its reporting teams was threatened with arrest by the Coast Guard and turned back from an oiled beach at the mouth of the Mississippi River. The story said the reporters were told the denial was under "BP's rules."

So the USCG is in on it too.

So is G4S Wackenhut I can confirm that myself I work for them sometimes. They are providing Security to the Contractor sites and storage areas.

Just today A fellow friend and ATS member told me that for the past 2 days they have gone to the staging area and stood areound for 12 hours @ $12/ HR + OT. There were 700+ at his site and 1200+ at another site.

Thats almost $274,000 / Day and they have done nothing.

So BP has no Issue spending money.

Think about it, It is in BP's intrest to limmit media access to the spill. It will further hurt their public image and name.

Xe is Expensive but BP can afford them, the question is, Can We?

Well actualy they do

Just a quick question though

If we find them in MS and they are violating our rights and the Constitution, it will not be good. That's all I will say about that.

In order to take action do you have to actualy catch someone in the act of violating your constitution?, or do you persue known delinquents and violaters of it throughout the nation?

Like if say a particular senator introduces legislation that directly violates your right and your constitution will you attempt to bring him to justice? or is it only if you happen to see somebody lurking about the swamps in the middle of nowhere granting titles of nobility to people would you take action?

" Well actualy they do "
What Law?

First off I have a 100 ton Captain's License. No contractor of BP or any other Company will not tell me where I can Navigate my USCG Documented vessel and where I can not.

If it is a waterway state or federal. The oil company's do have private canals and they are marked most of the time, But generally not restricted.

Secondly to the loaded questions:

"In order to take action do you have to actualy catch someone in the act of violating your constitution?, or do you persue known delinquents and violaters of it throughout the nation?

Like if say a particular senator introduces legislation that directly violates your right and your constitution will you attempt to bring him to justice? or is it only if you happen to see somebody lurking about the swamps in the middle of nowhere granting titles of nobility to people would you take action?"

If and when it happens to affect us here in South MS we will take propper and legal actions to remedy the situation. If it grows beyond that scope there are other options available.

The political problems in this country are vast and complex, they will take time and action to fix. How it can be fixed can be found in the second amendment. That is our safe guard aganst tyranny which is no the topic here.

You will probably enjoy this article, if your OP is true it seems to be the same NO FLY ZONE regulations put in place by the FAA.

Fair enough, im just always intruiged by militia style philosophy some Americans proffes to having. I for one entirely agree with it, but its just that most Americans who talk like this usualy you find do very little with regards to combating tyranny and are usualy all talk as it were. Just wanting to see where you stand there good buddy.

If Xe shows up here on the coast and gets in our way, the whole world will see.

They have nice toys, so do we. They have former spec ops, so do we.

Off topic: Do you know why there are no FEMA camps or foreign troops in MS?

The MS Militia.

We are everywhere and nowhere.

God will show them mercy, We will not.
