Tonight on The Science Channel, (8:00PM ET) a look into what could be the most promising/ devastating scientific achievement of all time. I am really interested in the Q&A session following the hour long production. We have discussed the discovery here on numerous threads, I want to see what J.Q. Public thinks about this...

I'm sure I'm not alone when I say this really scares me. I remember being a child in the 80's with the fear of nuclear holocaust just a button-push away...but this makes that look like a monster-under-the-bed nightmare IMO. I know the benefits could be unbelievable, but still, in the wrong hands...

Am also curious as to what the MSM will be willing to share with the general public.

Obviously, the up-side will be heavily emphasized to be sure. What do you all think? Should I really be that worried?
