BTS Fantasy Football League 2010??

I'm quite curious whether Fantasy Football is a regular thing that ATS/BTS participates in as it can be such a fun competition to take part in especially since for me I love watching American Football but being in England we only see it rarely on TV which is why I play fantasy football...I need my Football fix!

I also thought it'd be a good idea to do a quick search and surprisingly I could only find a thread or 2 about fantasy football leagues dating back to 2008 (May have used the wrong keywords or whatever so sorry if I missed recent ones) so I was wondering if any ATS/BTS leagues were planned for this year at all?

In fact I was actually thinking about creating a league myself as I was In the middle of making one and then I thought about ATS/BTS and how much fun it could be to play against some of the members here.

So I guess I'm just curious if a league is planned at all for this year and if not would anyone want to start a BTS league?
Or even who would want to participate??

Well, we did have an NFL competition last year ... I forget who won it though.

I'm sure (at least I hope) we'll do it again this year.

And I think some members did do a fantasy league last year, though I'm not sure how that panned out cause I didn't follow the thread.

Anyhoot ... I guess it's never too early to talk NFL.

And yeah, I saw that thread but I err joined slightly too late to really play any part at all sadly.
but it looks like it was alot of fun still and It would be pretty cool to see something similar to that happen this year as well.

Also If no moderators decide to make a BTS fantasy league competition this year I may do one just for fun since i need my fantasy football fix Baaaaaaaad and BTS seems like a perfect place IMO!

Maybe the Fantasy World Cup will work better than other football codes because just about every nation represented here on ATS plays it?

Yes it is but this was just an idea since I've always thought fantasy football (NFL) was LOADS of fun and it would seriously be great to be able to play against some of the against members here.

Don't get me wrong though.....the world cup game would be great as well (I'm apart of that also)

I have run one for the last two years and I am going to run one again this year.

Anyone who does not intend to participate the entire season should NOT volunteer to play. Everyone should read that twice so they understand. We've had a problem the last two seasons with people signing up but not playing.

We have 5 people confirmed for this year's league. Invitations have been sent out to 3 others who played last season. There are 2 spots left for anyone to join so long as they can guarantee they will participate this season. Again, it is first come, first serve, so whichever two send me a guarantee and an email address first are the two who are going to be invited. I will not save spots for anyone who did not play in last year's league.

Sorry. This won't play, it's against the T&C and our Privacy Policy. Going to have to go another route. I'm in for that. Watch out for Frank Gore and Micheal Crabtree to light it up this year.
