Too much time was wasted with this thread. Too much of my time reading it and considering the possibilities. Too much of everyone else's time also. But I am glad nothing terrible has happened and that prophecies are clearly nothing but a bunch of BS thought up by people with too much time on their hands.

What I noticed in the trailer was the constant theme of soccer, especially with the World Cup going on. So it had me thinking of maybe an attack of that stadium.

Hi johnny2127,

Interesting. See I didn't even pick up on that. Definitely a possibility. I'm sure security has their hands full this year with all that's going on around the world.

Another prediction hung drawn and quatered
Never pay any attention to predictions to do with doomsday, they will never come true. One may be able to predict the death of a celebrity or the winner of the World Cup though.

Tried twice to edit the above typo, so that it read, "that their organization most likely did in fact see this thread."

BUT, THIS ATS WEBSITE WOULD NOT POST MY CORRECTED TEXT, despite the fact that it reported that I edited the mentioned post twice.

Hi Gold_Bug,

The same very exact thing happened to me on a few of my last posts on this thread. I had to start a new post to add whatever it was that I wanted to add or had forgotten. At least once all I wanted to do was fixed one word, like in your example.

Just thought I'd let you know that it's not just you.

Hi Everton,

Which time zone are you going by? It's still the 23rd.

For my first post, it should be noted that there is the G-20/Toronto earthquake, too to consider.

Hi b4apalehorse,

It this the Toronto earthquake that you're referring to?

"The City of Toronto has already claimed the earthquake as its own. Savvy entrepreneurs in the city were quick to react, selling hats and t-shirts reading "I survived the great Toronto 2010 earthquake." However, Ottawa has already butted heads with Toronto over the "ownership rights" to the earthquake."

This is why I never star or flag predictions. Because you dont know, no one knows. Even Obama doesnt know, even rothschilds dont know what evil they will be planning, no one knows at ats...this is why I am still not starring or flagging...

I don't think it was a waste of time. We saved the world!

Damn good entertainment too.

I still respect OP for making a "real" prediction.

Another prediction failed. At least he had the balls to call out a specific date that wasn't two to ten years in the future.

Unfortunately for the OP,....

ATS should create a new forum called "Elephant graveyard." This forum would be devouted to all the prediction threads that turned out to be false. Preditiction thread fails? send it to the Elephant graveyard.

Hmmmmm . . . I do think it is time to either recharge the batteries on, or replace altogether the Jethro Bodine Double-naught Spy Decoder Ring so as to get it right the next time.

Good effort, though.

Ok, I'm not gonna unpadlock my tinned food store just yet.

Believe it or not we get quite a lot of prediction threads on ATS, none ever seem to come true though... what makes yours different, would you care to elaborate more on the hexadecimal codes etc, etc???

Also - would you put your money where your mouth is and state that if your prediction is untrue you would leave ATS forever? Do you have that certainty?

Forgive me for adding this age old adage but, "Even a broke clock is right, twice a day."

Even if you are blindfolded, sooner or later with enough strikes you will hit the nail on the head.

I am not concerned about the number of prediction threads that you find all over the internet. I am worried about the ones that may be true and lost in the the haystack.

I would be in full support of this concept, whatever it would be called. As a matter of fact, I'd like to see a new forum that requires ALL date predictions to be posted there.

The trouble is, that would be too late.
It would be shutting the stable door after the horse had bolted.
What about "all threads posted by a member who has previously made a false prediction"? They could then escape that forum when one of their predictions came true.

Well, nothing happened (yet), but i don't think it was a BS thread.

At least this prediction was made based on something that made sense. It was not someone claiming that he or she had a dream about war and the end of the world. It was fun following this thread, actually.

But you know what. I woke up today and went to the RSOE EDIS site to see what was going on around the world, and this scared the s**t out of me: RSOE EDIS - Nuclear Event in USA

Thank God it's just a power outage.

i think something was attempted, be it by mother nature or those that attempt to infuence it.

think about this:

the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) was affected by both an earthquake and a Tornado warning on the 23rd.

what are the chances of those 2 events occuring on the same day, in an area that practiically never gets hit with either?
