Looks like the world is seriously hacked off with Israel. I'm not sure who this is worst for, Israel or the world as a whole. What I mean by this is that this event will give the Arab nations (especially Iran) justification for attacking Israel. Maybe that what Israel wants? WW3 just around the corner....I hope not!

I think all of them have been waiting for something like this to happen.. I honestly think this will lead to another war... I pray for it not to happen, but...

I also fear that if Israel feels its being backed into a corner by the world it may feel its only salvation is in it nuclear arsenal.

Hopefully they don't end up using their nukes feeling like they're backed into a corner.

I don't agree with the Israeli Commandos boarding a ship in International Waters and firing on innocent people, but I hope it can all be worked out with out any more deaths.

The worst case scenario is that WWIII starts and someone feels the need to use a nuke. I will have my fingers crossed hoping that does not happen.

LOL-they were just talking about this on the news. Said the UN security council convened but not a thing came of it.

Looks like if anything "tangible" is to happen then it will occur by countries outsidce of the UN.

Where is North and South Korea in the news today? Looks like this will blow over the same way very soon.

Video of Israeli forces being attacked.

Looks like these humanitarians weren't so peaceful after all.

And I swear at one point I saw an Israeli solider with a paint ball gun!

I personally am so tired of all our human idiocy, I could really care less if we nuke ourselves into oblivion. I would just feel bad for all the other species who would suffer. Of course they are going to suffer even if we dont nuke ourselves into oblivion. It might be better for them for us to just get it over with.

How did you come to the conclusion that the Arab world will use this a

a reason to ATTACK Israel ?

Are you following this story?

Israel is the aggressor, again, as usual.

You know responses like these I find insanely strange. How would the planet benefit in any way from nuclear annihilation? Yes it would get rid of us humans but Mother-Earth would die in the process. The planet is better off now than it would be after a million years nuclear winter.

Well because any extremist out there will now think because the world is condeming Israel that this would be a good time for an attack.

It doesn't matter who the aggressors are. There is animosity on both sides.

Oh I think they overestimate nuclear winter. And mother Earth would come out of it just fine. She would just have to whip up some new life forms. It would be kind of like bombing for roaches, only in this case, the roaches themselves would set off the fogger.

If she were smart at all she would whip up a good pandemic and just knock us all off that way.

The people on the cargo ship may have beaten the snot out of the commandos but Israel stepped in it this time. Not because a live-fire order was given, but because their commandos never should have been in a position where such an order would be needed or issued. There were any number of ways they could've handled this situation that wouldn't have resulted in a body count.

That sounds about right. Someone should've taken the batteries out of the dangerous toy before giving it to a little kid.

They can condemn Israel, make noise .. or even bring a rock concert into UN .. but all just big drama.

US always veto against sanctions on Israel. All countries are helpless. And the Zionists (the real terrorists in everything) continue to kill anyone and do anything they wish.

There will be plenty of condemnation, but under UN law Israel was in the right.

I laid the explanation for all to see here: www.abovetopsecret.com...

The blockade runners were within Israel's EEZ or Exclusive Economic Zone. Under the UNCLOS or UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, any foreign ships have to follow the laws and regulations of the coastal state while within the EEZ.

Ships that fail to follow those laws and regulations can boarded, inspected and its crew arrested under UN law.

Turkey has no case before the UN.

Or what appears to be a paintball gun.

The Israeli Navy boarding party was armed with Tavor TAR-21s and pistols.

Since they were attacked without provocation, I'd have to say the Israelis were fully justified in defending themselves against the 'humanitarians'. Some of them had grabbed a couple of the Israelis and were beating them to pulp and stripping them of their weapons and ammo.

So lets say , Iran's choppers fly over and drop Armed Men on the deck

of a US warship currently in the Gulf.

What do you think will happen?

Someone will break out the Boardgame RISK ?

Some times , Some of these replies just make me shake my head.

You might have.

www.king5.com...

A soldier identified only as a sergeant told reporters at a military briefing that the activists on board "were armed with knives, scissors, pepper spray and guns." He said he was armed only with a paintball rifle. "It was a civilian paintball gun that any 12-year-old can play with," he said. "I saw my friends on the deck spitting blood."

The high-seas confrontation was a nightmare scenario for Israel, which insisted its soldiers were simply unprepared for what awaited them on the Mavi Marmara, the ship carrying 600 of the 700 activists headed for Gaza. Instead of carrying their regular automatic rifles, the Israelis said they went in with non-lethal paintball guns and pistols they never expected to use.
