Could the galactic dust cloud be the same as the Photon belt ? (True science meets fringe theories )

Hi ATS.

I don’t think this is something widely discussed around here. as my search came up empty.

Most of us know Our Solar system has some sort of protective field around it created by the Sun more or less like the Earth’s magnetic shield. This field is called the Heliosphere.

For a while now I’ve been reading about the Solar system being on the edge of an interstellar dust cloud. Well we could enter that cloud in the very near future. I’ve gathered some info on the Heliosphere. For you to read please enjoy I’ve added some nice pictures for extra reading pleasure.

I will start with presenting you all the links with the scientific observations and what they think of it ( Scientists.)

Nasa says the bowshock is caused because the Heliosphere floats like a boat through water.
Strange do they mean the universe is not empty but is filled and everything travels in waves.
Maybe even Aether ?

Voyager 2 Detects Odd Shape of Solar System's Edge (23-5-2006)

The milestone, which comes about a year after Voyager 1's crossing, comes earlier than expected and suggests to scientists that the edge of the shock is about one billion miles closer to the Sun in the southern region of the solar system than in the north.

This implies that the heliosphere, a spherical bubble of charged low-energy particles created by our Sun's solar wind, is irregularly shaped, bulging in the northern hemisphere and pressed inward in the south.

Ribbon at Edge of Our Solar System: Will the Sun Enter a Million-Degree Cloud of Interstellar Gas? ( 42-5-2010 )

The Sun traveling through the Galaxy happens to cross at the present time a blob of gas about ten light-years across, with a temperature of 6-7 thousand degrees kelvin. This so-called Local Interstellar Cloud is immersed in a much larger expanse of a million-degree hot gas, named the LocalBubble. The energetic neutral atoms (ENA) are generated by charge exchange at the interface between the two gaseous media. ENA can be observed provided the Sun is close enough to the interface. The apparent Ribbon of ENA discovered by the IBEX satellite can be explained by a geometric effect: one observes many more ENA by looking along a line-of-sight almost tangent to the interface than by looking in the perpendicular direction. If our hypothesis is correct, then we are catching atoms that originate from an interstellar cloud that is different from ours, says Dr. Maciej Bzowski, co-investigator of the mission and head of the Polish IBEX team. But since the creation of such ENA atoms is occurring throughout the entire boundary layer between the clouds, why do we see the Ribbon? It's a purely geometrical effect, which we observe because the Sun is presently just in the right place, within a thousand of astronomical units from the cloud boundary, explains Grzedzielski. If the cloud-cloud boundary is flat, or better slightly extruded towards the Sun, then it appears the thinnest towards the center of the Ribbon and thicker at the sides, right where we see the edge of the Ribbon. If we were farther away from the boundary, we would see no Ribbon, because all the ENAs would be re-ionized and dispersed in the intervening gas of the Local Cloud.

Solar climate change

Scientists from Nasa say that Mars has warmed by about 0.5C since the 1970s. This is similar to the warming experienced on Earth over approximately the same period.

At least since 1989, Triton has been undergoing a period of global warming. Percentage-wise, it is a very large increase, said Elliot, professor of Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences and director of the Wallace Astrophysical Observatory. The 5 percent increase on the absolute temperature scale from about minus 392 degrees Fahrenheit to about minus 389 degrees Fahrenheit would be like the Earth experiencing a jump of about 22 degrees Fahrenheit.

I posted this to because there are people that think that the charged particles we are traveling through from the galactic dust cloud are very hot and effect the whole solar system.

The photon belt is a new age thingy where people believe in that happens 2 times a cycle.
When the Earth goes through it there is 2000 years of piece and enlightenment. Coming out mankind has 10.500 years of bad things happening after that again 2000 years of piece and prosperityand again 10500 years of misery. ( rough explanation )

1. In the year 2,000, we enter the Photon Belt and the Fourth Dimension.

2. The photon Belt is what the ancient Greeks and Romans referred to as the Golden Age the era of Peace. There were no wars, famine, pestilence, etc., only Light.

Now the reason why I posted all of this.

I think it is strange that this theory, however unlikely it sounds even with the rubbish inside existed before The discovery was made that the Earth was heading into a galactic dust cloud that apparently really does have some kind of noticeable effect on our solar system.

The date of one of the sites is set on 1995.

Can they be related. Is there some truth in it but more importantly... How could they even predict that something similar really is going to happen ???

I'm full of questions and I hope after reading this all you to.
I'm looking forward to all of your thoughts on it.

The good thing is we are heading for those short 2000 years.
Only the transition would not be easy and most likely kill most of us.

I can't answer your question, I am not a specialist in this matter, but it seems logical though.

Yeah the whole solar system was changing... However some of it has been debunked.

How on Earth could decades old research on legends or myth from the ancients come up with it. The similarity with the recent discovered dust cloud is astonishing.

I've hadn't heard of the 'Photonic Belt' before. The posted link makes some interesting reading. I'm not sure what process or force is able to maintain a static belt (bubble?) of photons. I'm also not sure how a belt of photons could cause the Sun's light to be blocked out for 72 hours?

The reduction of solar radiation will apparently lower the rotational speed of Earth. Again, how does that work?

Upon entering, we are apparently met by angels who welcome us into the 'Galactic Federation.' I assume they kick us back out in 2000 years when we leave the photonic belt?! That's not very angelic!

I've got to tell you, I have the same questions you have...

I read about the photon belt a couple of years ago, before I was introduced into the world of conspiracy and paranoia. After reading about the real science stuff, it just struck my mind... The similarities are just stunning.

I'm probably a little to open minded from time to time but this just screams WHAT IF ! to me.

S&F....I wonder though, aren't we suppose to approach this bubble in 100 years (from what i heard) So I guess that blows 2012 out the window. Next doomsday dates 2029, 2050 then 2100.

I don't say this in any way to smear poo in your thread. It is very interesting, in many ways.

But I considered such things as far back as the 80's. When i was in junior high. Wrote a paper on it (fictional thing for English class). Of course, my paper was about a cloud of chlorine gas in space....but same concept.

This is why i always ask people who support standard scientific models how they can be sure that not only our past is even close to static compared to today, but also that the laws of physics are constant throughout the universe (or, at least as they pertain to our understanding).

another support for the proton belt theory is the bible mentions that the devil/satan will be locked up for a thousand years and then loosed again.
as i've said elsewhere (trumpet blowing), the whole thing runs in cycles, god or not.
