My first question would be, of course, why in the hell would a peace loving humanitarian aid summer cruise be carrying enough weapons to hold up a resistance against Shayetet 13?

My second one would be, how would, let's say the United States, Russia or China quell the resistance? I'm sure they wouldn't be dropping in by helicopter in hopes of gaining control over the ship, but instead fire upon the flotilla with artillery?

I was PERSONALLY told by a soldier in the commandos which is a close friend of mine that the Israeli task force did NOT cock their weapons untill a soldier was severely injured.

I"m sorry ladies and gentlemen, but you cannot have anyone, especially crazy Muslims running around on fantasy voyages in your territorial waters, note the they were not rammed by IDF Sa'ar 5 gunships, but delicately put in place by some of the most precise soldiers in the world.

Why must they provoke us so? what was that flotilla good for? people, you are losing your grip on reality, nobody want's a Gaza near them. Nobody want's these crazed fanatics around.
Israel is your first line of defense, support it with all your might. I promise you, you do not want the people in Gaza coming to your doorstep...

Concepts and labes like "crazy muslims" "fantasy voyages" indicates the discourse of what Edward Said called orientalism. Okay let's just say you try and kick down my bedroom/study door. Provoking us? I'm assuming you're Israeli. The flotilla had food, medicine, water, first aid etc etc. So it was GOOD for lots and lots of things. Mainly helping people.

Next...

The flotilla had purposefully stopped for the night in international waters with plans of trying to run the blockade in the daylight. The ships were searched for weapons before they left and the passengers went thru body scanners to check for weapons as they boarded. The only "weapons" on board were those carried by the pirates. If a few of them had their weapons taken and used against them then oh well. For Israel to attack them in international waters is no different that the somali pirates attacking the ships. It is piracy, pure and simple. Of course those on board tried to defend themselves with whatever was at hand.

Like the Al Jazeera reporter said to the Israel PR guy, if they wanted to minimize the potential for bad things happening, then why didn't they arm at least the first wave with "Non-lethals" or "less lethals" like rubber bullets and have a second wave standing by with live ammo. This was a pirate raid in international waters. How is this different from the somali pirates attacking a US ship in international waters?????

More importantly, how is this different than Iranian naval forces attacking a US civilian ship in international waters? What would happen if something like that went down??

Witnesses state that Israeli ships fired before landing commandos.

This video clearly shows passengers talking of Israel killing at least 1 person and injuring many before the passengers raised a white flag to surrender. Then a few minutes later passengers responded by hitting a commando repeatedly with an iron bar because of the immediate danger perceived by commandos bearing down on them. The commandos then fire and kill 20 people & injuring many dozens more. The evidence of war-crimes against humanity is there and there's no escaping it for Israel. The white flag is raised the whole time during the massacre, and the passengers had no chance.

It would seem that the flotilla assaulted Isre=aeli military forces during boarding. Why would you do that but to martyr yourself and try to create an incident. If the flotilla was only trying to help the Palestinians they should not have done that. It would have been better if they had just stood aside and taped the boarding
