Hello and good evening

Hi there everybody.

I have been lurking on this set of forums for some time, but felt it was time to actually join!

I have been a software programmer for many years, and have a general interest in science, in particular astronomy. Long ago I did a lot of work in mathematical astronomy, in particular orbit calculations.

Looking forward to making some small contribution to the debates raging here!
