If all goes well, I will be hosting the biggest ever fancy dress back yard new years eve party..

If you agree that we do not know everything then there is more evidence to support something apocolyptic happening in 2012 than something not happening.

They are pretty much asking to be robed blind and not only of money but emotionally as well, kind of sad but you really can't feel guilty doing it, not anymore at least.
If you'd like to join it hit me up, maybe we can get some kind study going and actual useful information out of it too.

I wonder how they would handle a situation where they full heatedly followed/supported a prediction or prophecy/movement and were told at the end it was all a fraud by the person who started it all?
A lawsuit or too I'm sure.


Anyway, I'll have people telling me that something did happen but my heart wasn't pure or open or filled with love and my heart was filled with fear and hate or that some outside evil/positive force kept/saved us from the event of choice.
Same old excuses.

i agree, i flip flop sometimes i feel bad sometimes i feel like they have it coming.

it's also strange how most people think 2012 has something to do with the earth. any plausible doomsday scenario would be more attributable to human error of sorts. Humans are far more fickle and unstable than the earth.

plus their decisions don't take tens of thousands of years to manifest.

Since my new Mayan Haab calendar will be finished carving and installed in the backyard, I guess I'll be replacing the calendar on my desk. Nothing like a new calendar to start off a new year.

I'll be putting on the finishing touches to another annual Jesus painting. And finishing off whatever poison I decide to partake of the night before.
By the time the sun comes up, I will be fast asleep for the day. My wife will come home from work and tell me what a miserable day she had with all the hungover people coming to her store for more alcohol.

It will be business as usual. Oh, yeah, I will marvel later that day that the local rock station once again played Ina Gada Da Vida at midnight.

I'll probly sleep in quite a bit, then come on here and chat y'all up about the NEW REAL date that they finally cracked the code on!!!

Then I will probly have a drinky pooh, mabey sing some karaoke???

Party. Yeah, I normally don't party up the new year too much. Partying is over rated but when so many people are saying the world is going to come to a crashing end and we're all going to die in miserable ways - I will be happy to celebrate the fact I still have my life. Like everyone else in the world, I too have no idea when the world will end OR if it will end for that matter. You can't say it's impossible for the world to end in 2012...no one in the world knows. It might be unlikely and a ton of people will agree nothing is going to happen...and that's fine. Most of the time, I really doubt it too, but there's always a possibility. I mean, I think of it like someone trying to thread a needle with a metal rod the size of thread from half a mile away. It's so incredibly unlikely that it's not even funny, but with a ton of luck on your side...who knows?

I'll be cooking a traditional New Years Day dinner for my family.

One difference will be that I will be sipping home grown Georgia shine that I've been saving for that date.

And the lovely sounds of rock and roll music will be filling my home.

There will be a lot of kissing and hugging going on as family and friends find their way to my house.

Finally after all the guests have gone I will be sitting at my desk posting on ATS.

That's a really nice dream. I do hope it comes true.

exactly But this world is so insane right now. OMG, just look at the BP thing nearly causing a dead zone in the Atlantic. I wish this world would bloody change, but greed and corruption have control. This place is like a nightmare. shoot, I don't want to die, but man who is going to save mankind from its own destruction if 2012 doesn't happen?

I want humanity too change for the good, but like I stated greed and corruption got us by the balls...

I will be waiting for Duke Nukem Forever and Diablo 3 to come out.

I have been waiting for Diablo 3 for some time now, and it is at least confirmed. Duke Nukem Forever, I have waited on since 1999 and I promise, I will be waiting for it on Jan 1st 2013. I never checked out T.O.R. but I heard great things about it. After WOW, I can honestly say I will never play another MMO, short of Diablo 3 if that counts.
