Amsterdam Press Conference on Potential Chinese Discovery of Noah's Ark

Well does this put an end to all the speculation about weather Noah's Ark is real or not? it seems the Chinese have found what they consider to be the remains of the Ark! listen in on this conference in Amsterdam and make your own mind up!

No, because there are many ancient cultures that believed burying their leaders, inside a boat, was a good way for them to reach heaven. It's possible this boat on a mountain, is just another ancient tomb-religious construction. After all like a pyromid, the top of a mountain is closer to the sun-god.
However if they proved the wood came from the Middle East, that it was felled at the right time, then that would at least mark it out from probably thousands of other "boats on land" (remember the Viking burial mounds, in the U.k www.bbc.co.uk...

I've only watched the first part so far, but I have to say you don't appear to have appreciated the nature of the evidence being presented.

i) the structure is 4,000m up Mount Ararat

ii) the very small section of the structure initially under discussion is 40m long

Suffice it to say your analogy of Viking burials is a complete red herring.

Why because its more plausible it floated up a mountain as a boat, than it is likely that is was constructed where it is, by one of many possible cultures? People have achieved all sorts of amazing structures-feats in the name of religion.

I hate it when people jump to the wrong Conclusions about what I've seen. Especially when its because I happen to be more sceptical about it, than they are!!! But hay; one man's truth, is another's propaganda.

My main thoughts are I can't believe that such an "important" news conference would be so badly constructed. But then "idiot me" guess it's only the reason why this discovery received non of the attention, it's "deserved"!!!
