Interesting concept. I've never thought about the topic of Jesus' farther that in-depth before.

Honestly, this thread is dealing with things that people have either (a) never thought of before, (b) don't want to think about/refuse to think about because of upbringings, or (c) will completely disregard because it deals with religion. When you combine that with the fact that the OP can be slightly confusing, I wouldn't expect you to be able to get much from the thread other than the petty bickering that makes up most of the first few pages.

Although, it would be nice to see a thread on a topic such as religion actually stay on topic and not completely resort to bickering for once.

A documentary? Yea I wish. I have spent 15 years studying this. You really know what you are talking about! Oh you couldnt be more wrong. I am saving the BEST material for anyone who really challenges the topic. What i have seen so far has been PRE-school level debate which I refuse to research for others. Maybe if you research we can get to the REAL DEBATE. But as of now its silliness obviously.

This isn't a debate, it's me asking if you actually have evidence to support your claims and you dancing around the issue by telling me I should have found the evidence.

And like a true disinformationist you said nothing about what I said in my post, I was saying if you've studied this topic for 15 years, why is it so hard to present your evidence in a rational and calm manner?
Instead you came blundering in saying that Jesus and Horus share a similarity, when asked which ones, you said over 200, when I asked how do you know this, you said go look it up yourself, I hope one day when you grow up you realize that you were wrong in this one.

Now that's an interesting concept. Throw out an assertion. Have others do the leg work for you. Then have them post it. Then copy it and publish it as your own work. Maybe the evidence was something overheard in a pub.

We all know what Jesus said about, them other fellows who came before him (and that includes Horus), that every last one of them were nothing but thieves and robbers.

The Father's name, just like they told you on page 1 is YHVH. It is his personal name and it is his memorial name to all generations. Most everyone agrees on the pronounciation of the first three letters - it's the last three people often mess up on. His name is Yahveh. Yah rhymes with Ma or Pa and veh rhymes with say or way.

"Who has gone up to heaven and come down?
Who has gathered up the wind in the hollow of his hands?
Who has wrapped up the waters in his cloak?
Who has established all the ends of the earth?
What is his name, and the name of his son?
Tell me if you know!" Proverbs 30:4

Yahveh is his name and Yahshua is His Son's name.

The secret things belong to God, but the things revealed belong to us and our children. He has revealed his name, and it means I will be that I will be.

So..... there you have it.

P.S. Very important. Remember the commandment about misusing his name.

I go back and forth but consider myself Agnostic and subjective. Still I have to admit that I don't see any real evidence that there are many similarities to proclaim that this story (Jesus) is copied.

Even Horus, who is described from the drawings as a 'falcon headed man'. I just don't see the evidence to warrant these claims higher than pseudoscience.

As in, the immaculate conception means Mary was made pregnant by god...

Why, by golly, everyone knows Jesus' daddy was THE Single Creator of the entire infinite, incomprehensible universe, whose "ONLY Begotten Son" in said universe just happened to have been born - where else? - right here in the obvious CENTER of the universe.

I mean, where else could POSSIBLY be the center of the universe than this planet in the DARK (emphasize "dark," especially when referring to human "civilization" at least as we know it) outer rim hinterlands of a nondescript galaxy?
