I've been watching CNN to hear about the gulf spill lately and keep hearing them talking about how the government should have taken over from day 1 and that they should be running everything. then I thought that perhaps this spill was orchestrated and purposely let pour for 30+ days and counting so that the public would get so upset and demand government intervention then the Obama administration would use this as an excuse to pass a bill under the guise of Oil/drilling reform and basically put all oil/natural resources under the control of government. just a thought and would love input from ATS on this.

Im trying to find some source, but I remember reading that the government was to make itself look like the savior of the USA and come and save the day. From what? Who know's.

And when they do that we will all be thankful that our government had succeeded.

Im not 100% sure how it went, but I'll try to find where I read this at asap.

here's a hint...every major disaster or event = major government power grab. look throughout history, every major disaster or event i.e. war or social disent, has greatly increased power and size of government. listen to rahm emanuel talking about not wasting a perfectly good disaster. i rest my case

I understand exactly what your getting at, I cannot understand the lack of response from everyone, but especially BP...

I keep thinking BP is up to something, is it possible there is some benefit to BP in letting this well leak until the entire gulf and all the coasts of the US are ruined before they shut it off?

Whats the reason? Things are finally heating up , so I would imagine that it will get turned off soon, but it sure seems like they are determined to let it run out until the very last moment.

To the OP, one question though why would BP go along with a takeover?

my guess is that they are either being forced to go along or they are in on it and want to help further the NWO. I would say the latter is more likely.
