OH.... MY.... GOD!!!!!!!
We're now seeing the true extent of the leak... the new footage is the blow out preventer, which looks like it's about 4-5 FEET wide of a hole
spewing that oil!
This is not the same as the 21 inch pipe that they have been showing, which is what eventually leads into the BOP. I remember when this first started,
they talked about 3 leaks -
source - so this
HAS to be the main leak and the one they've been showing us has been one of the secondary leaks.
Now, combine the amount of oil coming from all 3 and although I hate to be doom and gloom, I think we're looking at the beginning of the end folks.
This will destroy the food chain and alter weather, and I would expect that we will start to see the full impact from this in about another 30 days.
Right now, the effects are just starting to settle in as we've seen in some of the other videos.
As far as my own personal knowledge of the laws of physics, and the understanding that capping a hole this big hasn't been attempted before (not even
on land), I don't see them being able to resolve this. The pressure alone was enough to blow out all of their safety equipment, which is built to
sustain those depths and pressure, even with big spikes of gas pockets, yet they are going to build something "better" in 30 days? I don't think
so....
This is a BRITISH company, why are we letting this happen? Just because that country is an ally? That doesn't stop GREED and all these people care
about is recovering their precious oil and saving the bottom line. It's sickening.
I hope that the lessons we learn from this is enough to prompt swift action on behalf of scientists and inventors all over the world to A) get us as
far away from oil as possible and B) find a way to clean up this mess before it kills everyone and everything.
God help us all, especially those closest to the spill.
