Brittany Murphy's Husband Found Dead

The husband of actress Brittany Murphy has been found dead at his home in Los Angeles - just five months after the death of his wife.

The body of British-born screenwriter Simon Monjack, 39, was discovered at the property in the Hollywood Hills.

LA's fire department had responded to an emergency call for an "unspecified medical aid request" at the house on Sunday, according to force spokesman Brian Humphrey.

Police said the preliminary cause of death was "natural causes".
