Sodom & Gomorrah found?

I was watching the new episode of Ancinet Aliens (Closer Encounters), and it mentioned Sodom & Gomorrah. I remember reading ten years ago that somebody thought they had found it, but I couldn't find anything on ATS about it. When I read about it years ago, it was a website with photos. Apparently someone turned it into video footage since then, and here's what I could find talking about the same place. Is this video footage actual evidence of Sodom & Gomorrah?

It looks to me like something burnt down here...Has anybody claimed this location is something else? What do the locals say it is or what caused it?

It's the sulfur that makes me wonder... I've been to Yellowstone, I KNOW there are places that smell like sulfur. I'm curious as to how common is it to find sulfur in nature like this? Are there other causes that could leave sulfur like that?

Given the unexplained purity of the sulfur found, it would seem that it is very possible that these are the sites that they are claimed to be. I do like the speculation of the one structure to be that of a sphinx.

Did they find the Mrs. Lott Memorial Pillar of Salt?

i looked at a second video after the one you linked in your OP, this vid is by Ron Wyatt... whats enlightening is that Wyatt & his party took a lift up to the top of Masada so as to look down at the apparent, decayed former structures of what is proported to be the lost city of Gomorrah...

turned to fire & brimstone from heaven, as the folktale/legend goes.

its quite easy to conjecture that the decayed structures, might be the remains of buildings, temples, ziggerauts, walls...of some distant past 'city'

but hiking all around AZ back in the 1990s, there were plenty of canyon walls that had the appearance of being pueblo dwellings, but one could see that it was only imagination which completed the false impression.

it becomes clearer to me that the ancient residents of Masada, beheld this natural formations, the legend grew that this was once a 'city' destroyed by the hand of God... the mind naturally wants to connect dots and 'see' patterns that are not really there...the debris fields of Gomorrah & perhaps Sodom too way down at the south end of the Dead Sea might have been deposits left by meteorites billions of years ago & that is why the deposits are so much different from any other geo-thermal sulfer sites around the world.
