What if Al Gore was the winner of the Presidential election in 2000?

I'm bored and would like to chit-chat. This is on my mind as I'm typing. To me Gore popularity would be very different then now. Since Presidents are usually under a lot of pressure from their work as president. What would President Gore have done on 9/11 and the the reaming years of his presidency.

In that case he would have become a carbon billionaire a lot sooner and we all had to pay a carbon tax.

He would have started a war on Carbon-dioxide CO2.

And to explain it as simple as possible, a carbon tax is taxing the air we breathe, the last thing untaxed would be the sun.

That would be right down ridiculous. At least pay the states to clean up the streets. Maybe our cites would look more appealing instead of massive advertisements.

This is what would be different.

1.Saddam Hussien would still be alive.
2.Global warming would be a non-issue.
3.911 Would never have happened.
4. Since we would be working on 16+ years of the democratic parties rule, George Orwells 1984 would have already been the way of life.
5.Russia would have went back to Communism.
6.Jesse Jackson would be the Secretary General of the UN.


Just as a side note: I'm waiting for the current POTUS to apologize to the families of the 911 hijackers for the WTC being in their flight path.

I doubt all that would happen if Gore was president. Just because he was a democrat doesn't mean he would pointlessly hire whoever, sing pointless laws and run the country in the ground.

Hm....probably would not have been reelected.
We would still be on course towards a New International Order, with the U.S. of A. leading the way, forcing democracy down peoples' throats.

The path might have taken a different route, but the destination would still remain the same.

Maybe someone forgot: Gore won the popular vote.

He could not have won the election no matter what. The PTB had there agenda all laid out. Read Zbigniew Brzezinski's book the grand chessboard, written prior to the 2000 election, and tell me that wasn't a future agenda, that fit into their timeline.

They needed a republican candidate & a "new pearl harbor" to fit in with their plans.

Let's just say everyone the is or has been charge of public office run this country to the ground.

Our trees and other plant life would be starving due to a CO2 deficit. (/11 may not have happened but we would have a rise in eco terrorism who would be supported by the government.

Here are my guesses.
Well Saddam Hussein would still not have weapons of mas destruction. Many Iraq's and American Soldiers and wealth would still be with us.

Afghanistan would likely only have been bombed and no troops on the ground other than CIA and Special Force Strikes.

Oil spill may or may not have happened. Bush would not be the dumbest president in history nor would he be responsible for the many deaths his insanity brought to the planet.

We would probably not be in the middle of the worst world economy in modern history.

Remember the budget was in the black not red when Clinton left office.

Obama would not be the current President as the world would not be the same as it is now.

Reaming??? Quite a Freudian Slip there. That's basically what he would have done to the American Public.

If Al Gore had won the 2000 election:

1) 9/11 would have still happened.
2) We'd still be in Afghanistan.
3) We'd very likely have gone to war with Iraq.
4) The financial meltdown would have still occurred.
5) You'd be talking about the good old days of $3 per gallon gasoline.
6) Al Gore would be a few billion dollars richer due to cap-and-trade.
7) You'd be living under a bridge due to cap-and-trade.

If Gore had won in 2000, then we would all still be feeling disenfranchised by his lock-box

Seriously, we would be paying more for everything...probably even the air we breath.
