Here is a link to a news article in the Toronto Globe and Mail (with Pictures) about a curiosity known as the Big Trout Lake Monster. Its hardly a monster at 12 inches in length, but it sure is ugly. It looks to have characteristics of a muskrat, in my view.

Any comment as to what this may be? Some have said its a chupacabra...The Indians said its been seen before and call it omajinaakoos. They say its a bad omen.

I was about to say the same thing. It's clearly an otter with some disease or defect resulting in the hair loss on the face and the pale colored nose.

Sometimes I just don't get how these types of things even cause "debates" because generally there is a logical explanation for these "mysterious" creatures and the ones who refuse to accept that fact; in no kinder words, just look like idiots.
