Time to take a break from all the doom and gloom here on ATS !

Well, I don't know about you guys but I can't help but get a feeling of depression occasionally when I peruse the various threads here on ATS.
I realize that this is a conspiracy oriented forum and that there's not really much to smile about when reading threads that seem to to generate no end of doomsday predictions of various kinds such as:

Iran will start WWIII
Israel will start WWWIII
North Korea will start WWIII
Nibiru will destroy the world
2012 will destroy civilization
The NWO want to enslave us
The MSM are lying to us
TPTB want to control us
Earthquakes are increasing
Volcano's will devastate us
Oil spills will ruin the oceans
The global financial structure is being manipulated
The governments are lying to us
Aliens are doing god knows what to us

Did I miss any ? I'm sure that I did.


Ok, here's my little bit of effort to try and counter all the doom and gloom that's a normal part of the ATS forum. As I was Googling some images just a while aqo, I came across a couple that were so funny that, and I kid you not, I had tears of laughter running down my cheeks and at one point almost had to change my undies
Having chuckled so much, I decided to spend a few minutes making a compilation of similar items that I now present for your delight and amusement

So, what say we all take a small break from the doom and gloom and sit back and have ourselves a good laugh ... who knows, we may even enjoy it

LOL! I didn't think your thread would make me laugh but it has.

Nice work Op, there is far too much doom and gloom on ATS. I mean think about it, to be stuck with a bunch of ATSers after the apocalypse would be a real downer. After the high-fiving stopped and we all took stock of being right all along, how long would it be before new conspiracies were formed and dis-harmony began to spread again.....

I love you all here but I think ATS could benefit from a bit more humour to balance out all the doom-mongery...S+F my friend....

I'm not especially a cat lover, but these pics are the best I've ever seen! The one in 5 kittens, MacGuyver, and the cat having to tell his wife he won't get neutered were the best for me! LOL

I think I'll come see these pics once a day for a while!

Why is this on ATS?

Does anyone that has joined recently even know the way this site was set up?

The amount of crap recently posted on ATS is astounding.

There is a forum for this it is called BTS and it is there for a reason.

As usual, the wet rags are out. Maybe there should be a forum on ATS just called the lighter side.

Yes it is a conpiracy site. Conspiracies about fun things are as rare as unicorns, and no one goes looking for them. At least I can't think of any.

But the doom and gloom can be a bit much sometimes.

So can the wet rags.
