Enlil and Enki were Anunna or Anunnaki.

But here is what I found:

Enlil and Sud: c.1.2.2
When Nuska, the head of the assembly, had received Enlil's instructions, he wasted no time ……; he directed his steps to Ereš. He entered E-zagin, the residence of Nanibgal (a name of Nisaba) and prostrated himself before Nanibgal on her dais. …… of Enlil ……, and she (?) asked him ……: "…… what ……?" (7 lines missing) (1 line fragmentary)(Nuska speaks
"…… Sud ……. What you have told me ……." Then Nanibgal went on speaking flatteringly to the minister: "Adviser, fit for his (?) king, ever observant (?)! Who like you could give counsel daily to the Great Mountain? How could I contest the king's message which his slave has received? If there is truth in what you have told me -- and may there be no falsehood -- who could reject one who bestows such exceedingly great favours? …… makes our mood and hearts happy. Let us consider that amends have been made. By bringing the marriage gifts and the presents in his name the insult is wiped away. Tell him: "You shall become my son-in-law; do as you wish!" Tell Enlil, the Great Mountain: "Do as you wish!" Let his sister come from her side, and she shall accompany Sud from here. Aruru shall become Sud's sister-in-law: let her be shown the household. Inform your lord thus in his august Ki-ur. Repeat this to Enlil in the privacy of his holy bedchamber."
Enlil and Sud: c.1.2.2
After …… had instructed ……, …… and Nuska took his seat on it. (1 line missing)Nanibgal called …… and gave her advice: "My little one, asleep indoors (?) …… your pure ……, the pleasant private quarters ……. …… leave the House of Nisaba's Wisdom. ……, Nuska is knowing and wise. …… to his presence and pour him beer." According to the instructions of her mother, she washed his hands and placed a tankard in his hands. The minister opened his left hand and gave her the jewellery, …… everything …… and set it before her. She received the gifts ……. He …… directed his steps to Nibru. …… kissed the ground before Enlil. …… the great Lady had said ……, as she had instructed him, he repeated (?) ……: "(She said
"Adviser, fit for his (?) king, ever observant (?)! Tell him: "You shall become my son-in-law; do as you wish!" Inform your lord thus in his august Ki-ur. Repeat this to Enlil in the privacy of his holy bedchamber.""
Inana and Šu-kale-tuda: c.1.3.3
Then the woman was considering what should be destroyed because of her genitals; Inana was considering what should be done because of her genitals. She filled the wells of the Land with blood, so it was blood that the irrigated orchards of the Land yielded, it was blood that the slave who went to collect firewood drank, it was blood that the slavegirl who went out to draw water drew, and it was blood that the black-headed people drank. No one knew when this would end. She said: "I will search everywhere for the man who had intercourse with me." But nowhere in all the lands could she find the man who had had intercourse with her. -- Now, what did one say to another? What further did one add to the other in detail?

found this interesting as well:

Enki and the world order: c.1.1.3
"I will admire its green cedars. Let the lands of Meluḫa, Magan and Dilmun look upon me, upon Enki. Let the Dilmun boats be loaded (?) with timber. Let the Magan boats be loaded sky-high. Let the magilum boats of Meluḫa transport gold and silver and bring them to Nibru for Enlil, king of all the lands."

Agreed. Enlil= bad and Enki/Ea=good. Enki (along with Mammi) had a hand in the creation of mankind. How could he want to destroy us? It all goes back to bloodlines and back then it had a funny way of working out. Enki, in fact, was firstborn to Anu of a consort not of a "royal" bloodline. Anu fathered another son with a woman who was a "goddess" and because of the "pure bloodline" Enlil was declared firstborn and rightful heir. These instances are even prevalent in the bible.... just check it out for yourself. There was always a feud going on. I'm totally team Enki! As for the "humans created as slaves" concept.... it could go either way. I believe we we put here and created by the Anunnaki- that is for sure.

Yup, I am on Team Enki's side myself. I really wish I knew why they left earth back in the days after Rome fell. Then everything started to fall into a one God system. I guess they knew the evil that swept the earth and humans has got pretty bad and left before it consumed them.

if you plant a seed for a purpose eventually you will love that plant it will be like a child to you and the example "seed" could be created life!

if you went to another planet created a being eventually you would want that being to be able to experience freedom and all the sutff you could do or know...kinda like a slave why did some slave owners have childrenwith there slaves why did some one them to be free?

why some people think animals deserve rights when in essence animals alreayd have rights when people disrupt there life or domesticate them thats taking htere rights away animals aremeant to be free and if killed eaten b/c u hungary not for glutony!

yeah- I hate not knowing why.... and I wish they would come back hardcore!!!!! Monotheism is crazy web of bs in my opinion. But I'm not slamming anyone, I'm sure I seem crazy to most. But just to know would be so awesome. I'm sure they still check in on us, we just don't know it.

The 12th planet of ZS is a good read for this one.but anyway here's my take.
Enki was the lead guy when these et's came exploring our planet.later there was some sort of reorganization and Enlil became the main man.
Enki was the field man.And enki knows by hand the hardship he and his men were facing in their toils, mining.
beings advance in their technology, Enki has to heed to his men's request to ease up their hardship by cloning workers thru some indigenous species they know are just about to catch up with evolution, thats us.
Enki and enlil's job are nicely cut out for them.there could be some hitches in their bloodlne but they are brothers alright.
the idea of god, good and evil and superhumans clearly sprang from the events surrounding these guys and their early exploits.
office politics maybe intense during these times, but they do consult each other,up to the patriach, anu.
they may not agree on each and every issue but they all go for the consensus.
just like what we humans are now.

the 12th planet is an amazing book! love it! but yeah. Enki/Ea got screwed over a lot. In fact he was supposed to rule. He came down and established Eridu and he was in command of irrigation, building, etc.... and later the creation of a "lulu." Enlil was originally commander of the skies, but eventually b/c of his complaining got control of "Ki" (earth) while Enki was pushed aside again after everything he did in creating man. He, as well as their sister Ninhursag were genetic scientists. Enlil wanted us destroyed and could care less. If not for Enki's warning of the deluge, who knows where we'd be? Nowhere maybe lol.

back to the terra papers.... interesting..... do you really believe this guy had never read the works of sitchin or von daniken??? If not then the way the story coincides with summerian/assyrian, babylonian texts is crazy!

Really great discussion. A topic that no one I have ever met knows of!!

Gods of Eden by William Bramley as wellnas Terra Papers and Earth Chronicles great books on this topic!!

It's been a while but remember Marduk and Tiamat had something to do with this too.

The illuminati still worship Innana/Ninhursag.

Wow- haven't heard of the illuminati and the whole Inanna thing. VERY interesting indeed! Will have to look into it. That's the thing on here. Every time I log on I end up seeing even more stuff that catches my eye and curiosity and have to delve into that too! Hahaa, but I love it. And I do love that we are having an awesome discussion about things that the majority of the population know nothing about. I'll have to check out Gods of Eden too. I'm still not done with all the earth chronicles or the terra papers yet. I skip around hahaaa.

Yes Marduk (Nibiru) crashed into Tiamet and created with one half earth which took "Kingu" or what we know of today as our moon with it into it's own orbit, the other half became the asteroid belt/hammered belt/heavens/firmament/etc.... pretty interesting. Love the Summerian Enuma Elish(Epic of Creation). One of the most interesting reads ever.

Inanna has the "me's"

her me's
herme's

she got Enki drunk and he gave her the me's

last we heard, they were still her me's

that's funny
but reliable information
look it up

Marduk is the same God our illustrious leaders pay homage to every year at Bohemian Grove, no? I wonder why I have never made this connection before...

Mabey over time Enki advanced and seen what his brotheren were doing wasnt right so Enki went another direction a positive direction. I consider this many times when I think of the 1/3 of the angels that fell, due to SATAN deceiving them. And I also think that the 1/3 are responsible for the creation of various alien-et-nonhuman or even human non native to EARTH species in preperation for the final war (real armagaddon).

With that I feel that over time some of the fallen angels began to remember their home and were influenced by remembering their home -HEAVEN- and began to spawn various new alien species that were for the good of all why destroying their original evil creations, even if they knew they would be challenged or destroyed by the other fallen angels who still follow SATAN.. ***THE 1/3 CAME TO THIS DARK REALM, BEGAN TO SPAWN TO HAVE ARMIES FOR WAR WITH GOD*** AND THE ORIGINAL 2/3 THAT REMAINED WITHIN THE LIGHT OF HEAVEN

Isn't it Enki who escaped to the Pleiades?

From what I've read - - I'm on the side of Enki.

well I read the text corpus all the time and I have yet to find any allusions to other planets or alien anything

there Gods are more like regular humans who occasionally give birth in 9 days instead of 9 months ..but I don't know if that means we can say they're aliens

I have however found some passages that I don't know what to make of like this from the marriage of Martu

apparently Martu for no good reason that he or anyone else knows gets more from the community ration than he should get as a single guy

so he decides to get married finds a princess (but he isn't royal) and gives her parents and her whole town lots of gifts of gold and silver so that there is no room to store it all(thats a lot of stuff?) and in on of the last passages the brides girlfriend says this

26-141. The days have multiplied, no decision has yet been made. (Adĝar-kidug's girlfriend speaks to her
"Now listen, their hands are destructive and their features are those of monkeys; he is one who eats what Nanna forbids and does not show reverence. They never stop roaming about ……, they are an abomination to the gods' dwellings. Their ideas are confused; they cause only disturbance. He is clothed in sack-leather ……, lives in a tent, exposed to wind and rain, and cannot properly recite prayers. He lives in the mountains and ignores the places of gods, digs up truffles in the foothills, does not know how to bend the knee, and eats raw flesh. He has no house during his life, and when he dies he will not be carried to a burial-place. My girlfriend, why would you marry Martu?"Adĝar-kidug replies to her girlfriend: "I will marry Martu!"

I am particularly struck by her comparison of Martu to a monkey?

then there is this from Enki and Ninmah which I interpret as the secondary Gods complaining to the Primordial first Gods about creating a creature to work for them as they are tired of 'breaking rocks in the hot sun' as the song goes

1-11. In those days, in the days when heaven and earth were created; in those nights, in the nights when heaven and earth were created; in those years, in the years when the fates were determined; when the Anuna gods were born; when the goddesses were taken in marriage; when the goddesses were distributed in heaven and earth; when the goddesses …… became pregnant and gave birth; when the gods were obliged (?) …… their food …… dining halls; the senior gods oversaw the work, while the minor gods were bearing the toil. The gods were digging the canals and piling up the silt in Ḫarali. The gods, crushing the clay, began complaining about this life. 12-23. At that time, the one of great wisdom, the creator of all the senior gods, Enki lay on his bed, not waking up from his sleep, in the deep engur, in the subterranean water, the place the inside of which no other god knows. The gods said, weeping: "He is the cause of the lamenting!" Namma, the primeval mother who gave birth to the senior gods, took the tears of the gods to the one who lay sleeping, to the one who did not wake up from his bed, to her son: "Are you really lying there asleep, and …… not awake? The gods, your creatures, are smashing their ……. My son, wake up from your bed! Please apply the skill deriving from your wisdom and create a substitute (?) for the gods so that they can be freed from their toil!"

they then go on to create some really screwed up beings in some kind of power play and Enki wins because his creation is so FUBAR that Ninmah can't fix it . So that's what I get out of the Text corpus

Team Enki here as well.
I believe Enlil was Yahweh and Enki was branded as Satan. Enki wasn't malevolent, but got the bad rep because everyone (humans) took Enlil's word/side. Enki was the one who warned Noah - all that.

But where the hell are they now? Did they die? Or are they still alive but keeping their nose out of our affairs (abandoned us)?

Who knows. And while Enki seems like the lesser of the two evils, I doubt the Annunaki were totally benevolent beings. I'm sure Enki has some skeletons in his closet.

And btw, who actually created the Annunaki? Or did they graduate to intelligent life without being tampered with? Questions, questions...

If the whole story is true then they would be the creators of our bodies/vessel; but would they really be our "gods" or "THE God"? Whoever told the person to write in Genesis that God/Yahweh (Enlil) created the Universe was just wrong and should be slapped.

I think the word "God" is a misnomer and thrown around a wee bit too much...
