No, the glass or cup is in between the beer cans. And the more I look at it, the more I think it could be Aladdin. If it is Aladdin, then the photo was taken no later than 1992, when the film came out.

I don't think that's an Aladin cup. I messed around with it and here's what I came up with. You can see these letters.

Also, whoever is doing research on the beer can, I noticed the OP is from NZ. It might be possible that different countries have slightly different can designs.

Yuefo.....

I stuck to "glasses" because the item on the table looks like a glass.

Using the graphic on your "coffee cup / thermos" for comparison with the glass, there still seems to be loose resemblance, but I don't think it's a certain match.

Unfortunately, I still can't make out the letters, but I suspect your original image is better & you're losing detail when you post the image in the thread.

I have no idea what the letters might be part of.....I'll have to think about that.

Me too. I never did think much of the saucer. The first thing I thought of was a street light. It's kind of a funky shot with or without the UFO.

First of all sorry for my bad English
I would like to give my opinion to this picture, and the things that bothers me.
the two people in the picture doesn't seems to notice the UFO at all, even as it seems to be a very bright day, and she is looking in the generally right direction,
so she should be able to see that big thing, hanging there in the sky, but that's just my opinion and I could be wrong.

imo posting compressed images is just pointless titillation. Virtually Nothing can be analysed in them other than general look and feel.

May I ask what photo paper the photo is printed on and any image of the printers paper marks on the rear of the picture?

I think it's a cool UFO pic. Reminds me of the Area 51 Sports Model. Star and flag from me. Could be a frisbee, could be someone threw a hubcap, could be a genuine UFO. I'll pick option 3 till someone proves otherwise.

None of it matters really. UFOs are spotted in their thousands all over the world and do show up in photos.
