Well if you're sure you're going to read this, then i'll type it up. keep in mind that i'm old and ye olde hands are not what they use to be, sorta arthritic ya know, so if you don't plan on reading this, do me a favor and just say, i didn't read it cause i think you're goofy or whatever.

anyway, Jehovah is based on 2 gods from Sumer: Enlil and Enki. Father and Son. I'm completely serious. That's why when Yeshua said he was Jehovah, he wasn't kidding. However he wasn't the FATHER god. He was the son of the FATHER god. If you require more evidence, i'd be more than happy to oblige ya as the subject of ancient history, particularly biblical texts, is one that i'm always interesting in discussing

Where is Enki the son of Enlil?

Some myths mention Enlil as the son of Anu. Enki and Enlil have been portrayed as half brothers in some myths.

From research I've done I'm about convinced that Anu is the same as the Abrahamic G-d. In the oldest myths Anu/An is the Sky Father or Heavenly Father, King of the gods, dwells in the Heavens, and in the oldest myths he is the one who defeats Tiamat.

Later myths establish the supremacy of Enlil and then even later myths make Marduk supreme. The oldest have Anu/An supreme.

Ancient Indo European myths always have the "Heavenly Father" as supreme. Compare to Tian/Shangdi of ancient China, Tengri of the Mongols and Turks, and the ancient Vedic god Dyaus Pitar. The Sky Father archetype is even found among the Polynesians and Native Americans.

ENLIL=Air, Wind, Breath, Spirit, Sky


They (the hebrews) didn't appear to separate the SPIRIT (Enlil) from the FATHER (Anu), so Enlil was both Father and Spirit and he was in command over Enki. Sky and Heaven were synonmous.

En'Lil= Lord of the Wind

Enlil is one form of the archetypal weather god found in Indo European myth. To the Canaanites he was Ba'al Hadad. The Hebrews knew him as Ba'al. The Greeks knew him as Zeus. The Romans knew him as Jupiter. In Vedic myth he was Indra.

I don't see the confusion. The Hebrews identified with El not Hadad. El like An/Anu is the older "father of the gods". Anu is father of the Anunnaki and El is father of the Elohim. The Bible contains trace elements of them, such as the nations of the earth divided according to the 70 sons of G-d. Later translations said sons of Israel instead, but in Canaanite myth El has 70 sons.

The only figure in the Bible that shares traits in my opinion with Enlil is the descriptions of Satan in the Christian testament, where he is called Prince of the powers of Aer and god of the world.

Samael, from Jewish lore and also said to be Satan, shares some of the same traits. He is essentially chief, as patron of Rome, of the 70 who rule the nations of men. Also note that Samael is one of the names of the Gnostic demiurge.

Enlil's name is the generic god word for ancient mesopotamia

here is the etymology

His name is a reference to the air/atmosphere, the sky, the wind, the breath
but the hebrews dd not distinguish between the air/sky and the heaven/sky.

furthermore the name JEHOVAH is from the roots,
HAYAH (EA (pronounced AYAH) who is ENKI) which means to be, to exist
and
HAVA (Enlil) which means to breathe, air, spirit, sky

therefore JEHOVAH IS BOTH EN.LIL and EN.KI

in fact in the akkadian text, ENMERKAR AND THE LORD OF ARRATA, it is ENKI who confuses the languages at the Tower of Babel.

and let's look at BAB.EL. Babel is from BABILU which is from KA.DINGIR.RA
it means GATE OF THE GODS.
EL=ILU
The BAB prefix is really water gate (named after ENKI'S Abzu (the abyss, bottomless pit, which has a gate. and is why he's also called EA, the god of water. Technically his titles are god of earth and water, lord of the abzu/abyss). He's the fish man. think about that one for a bit.
